Lazs, I can't understand why you're not in Baghdad. You get to drive fast and shoot guns at the same time.

Ah, don't beat yourself up about it.  My second day driving I got a ticket going 90 in a 55 (the cop cut me a break ;) ).  Thank God the judge's brother also owned an SHO, so he could relate.  (And that I was in upstate NY, where the rules are a little, um, "different..." - hats in court, anyone?)

You should be warned, however, that if you make a habit of this, you probably won't live all that long - at least not with a guilt-free conscience.

Straffo,

The insurance company can do a license check of their insured drivers. If the check shows a significant number of points (assigned for moving violations like speeding etc) they often raise your rates since your record indicates you are not driving in a proper manner. In other words the risk is greater when you drive stupid so they want the stupid driver to pay and not everyone else.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I can understand but here it don't work the same way, to raise your rate you have to make some accident and be responsible of not just having a ticket.

What kind of ticket make your rate increase.
For example can a parking ticket have such effect ?

Straffo, "moving" violations, I beleive.  A parking ticket will do more damage to your credit rating if left unpaid than anything else :)

I know in Philly, after "X" number of tickets, or "X" amout of time w/o paying parking tickets, they give you the "boot".  This gets attached to one of your tires, and you can't get it off, or drive your car.

Any other cities have this?  I'm sure were not the only one, even though we were the first city to have a courtroom at our football stadium.

Maybe depends if the cop is a salamander. Most likely exhibition of acceleration or reckless driving even though your going no where. Racing here got out of control from 90-2000 so they have dropped the hammer on people now. I mean when you see a car with a chute fly by it might be time to tuffing up.

and rpm... while you may not understand why I'm not in bagdad..  I can't understand why you haven't moved to england.

If I were younger and had the choice between a few years in iraq or living the rest of my life in england...  I would be in iraq so fast your head would swim.
