HOers v Vulchers (landing)
« on: September 03, 2007, 05:10:44 PM »
So I am on final approach to land my kills, about to get some tail from my spouse right after, and some puffy cheek; drooling little toad decides to vulch me on landing.  Nevermind that he had two other targets of opportunity lifting off but the dreary leg-humper had to choose me.

Let me say on record (although I do not practice it as much anymore) that vulching on take-off is fair game and a necessary evil when capturing a base.  Let's make this clear: Vulching somebody when they are landing is quite obvious, blatant and cowardly.

HOers (you know who you are) on the other hand can rest assure that they have the luxury of defending themselves against allegations on channel 200 by stating the  "it was not a HO" or "i had a gun solution on you by 15 degrees." This perpetrates more 200 trash talk and the eventual "DA?" in which the HOer will 90% decline as some HOers would find a way to have their pencil shaped heads lifted in the air as they have gotten the winning edge on an argument and convining themselves they have enough "game" among the best pilots here in AHII.

Such action by HOers (especially by high ranking pilots) are truley misrepresentation of their true nature of having little game and only makes veterans such as myself (210lbs, 6'1'', 4th year out of southern cal) begin to question the authenticity of the victors skill.

I try very carefuly in a duel in the MA not to HO even if I have a gun-solution on my adversary.  Sometimes this backfires as his resuers gang-rape me or my advesary performs a brilliant reversal upon me and I am downed. <> to those who can do that.

So in retrospect, from the range of 1-10 (10 being absolute losers), please tell me who is truley the bottom feeders of AHII.

My Vote:
Vulchers (on landing); 9+
HOers; 8

I am not voting 10 since somebody may make an argument that there is something worse than these 2 types of players (hard to imagine).

If this happened over A1 today, which I'm pretty sure thats where this happen, it's sometimes hard to tell exactly who's taking off & who's landing, it was like a furball ontop of that base.

Now if this did happen somewhere else, or durning a time when the fight wasn't right ontop of the base then I have to agree with you.

trying to land at a base where a furball is occuring or a base that is capped is not the same thing. doing that is just stupid and you deserve to be shot.

Vulching a landing plane is unacceptable when there are other targets not landing, or when there is no battle occuring near by.

an example of this would be what happened to CBass last month :

CBass was landing 8 kills in an A20 after killing gv's attack the town. There were friendly aircraft nearby and a single enemy 110 at 5.5K. as CBass's gear is touching the runway CBass sees the tracers come into view and boom, CBass is dead. the 110 dove past the other aircraft in the area just to get CBass while CBass was landing. CBass did get revenge though by shooting down the 110 pilot 5 times on the next sortie.

I see your point but I do not agree.

1st, this did not happen at A1 and the leg-humper had me dialed in from what I thought to be my 4oClock position.

2nd on top of a base, lined up on a runway going slow enough before the edge of a runway should tell you by logic alone this guy is landing.

Well as for the HO vulching on landing I don't have a rating since there are to many variables that could apply to put 1 solid number on them.

I will rate your post as a 7. Was nicely done with paragraphs for easy reading. No massive misspelled words. But I have to dock you for the part about being 6'1" and out of Cal State. That means squat to me and has nothing to due with the topic. Unless you through that in there to attract a date or something.

I'm curious,  what bearing does your real life physique  (Very studly, by the way....are you a swimsuit model as well?) have to the cartoon world of AH?

BTW, your cartoon pilot is 98lbs, 5'4", just got his GED  :lol
