I seriously doubt that they would "dominate" seasoned mature MA-only pilots ... too bad we will never get to see it.

For years I played both H2H and the MA.  I've fought the best that both can offer.  Hell, some of the best of H2H moved on and eventually became some of the best of the MA.

However, I can say with certainty that the best players I have fought came from the MA.  I cannot think of one who was exclusive to H2H that I would rank among the best.  That's not to say that there weren't good players in H2H, but the best?  Nope, sorry.

He has to hide behind a shade account, all of his other ones are all PNG.  Though I am surprised he didn't mention Silat or any of the other AH trainers in his post.

I see your point. I didnt have any way of knowing if a shades or other pilots in h2h was also an MA pilot or not.

I am compelled to amend it to... Seasoned Mature H2H pilots instead of H2H only...

One of the very best pilots I encountered in h2h was Jetster and he, self-admittedly, had a ton of shades accounts for h2h... such as YeagerC.

I've fought jetster. We went about 50/50 in H2H. I can name 7 MAers off the top of my head who would kill me easily. Just to give you an idea.

That's is very interesting!

Although I am not talking about dueling, per se... I am meaning to convey one coordinated and cooperative team against the other team in a h2h War venue concluding in a war winning map reset.

I think it would be a lot of fun because of all the past boasting of players on both sides re: MA v H2H! I don't think it matters really who wins.

The exercising of winner's bragging rights on either side would be something to see! :rofl

I mean... just look at the number of posts made to this thread since it started on 09-05-2007!!! wooo HOOO

The majority of the H2H-only crowd has lost the majority of it's talent due to no active fighting. So therefore the MA would win big time even if they have less pilots than the H2H crowd.

Lots of people think I would be one of the better H2H pilots, yet I would have to disagree.

Here's my perspective...

I'm sure there are respectable H2H players out there. I've flown against a few. Good, but not impressive in the sense of what I know to be the best. I've fought the best.

I suspect that the problem may lie within the concept of a dwelling in a limited universe. You may have encountered the meanest fish in your particular pond, but there's an ocean out there you've not swam in before...

Hi Widewing!

My sincere respects and regards to you. I have every reason to believe what you've said and agree. I fly in the Big Sky Arenas and thus have an enormous level of respect... enormous.

I just think it would be a lot of fun... and who can resist rooting for the underdog?  :rofl And, who could resist ribbing the best of the best of the best should they, at the end of the day... come to swim in the little pond and loose by a fluke of luck or a tactical oversight or lack of team cooperation or mistakes rooted in over-confidence?

It's not all about dueling. The cooperative work of a well practiced and interleaved team is a thing of beauty.

I have found the team competition in the Little Sky Arena to be extremely enjoyable and fun. I have learned that the best stiks in H2H are MA pilots who enjoy it, and for just cause. I really can't explain it to someone who has not indulged in it. Were it not so enjoyable I would have branched out long before I did to fly in the mega-arenas.

I should have done it long ago. The first time I saw a flight of 30+ B-17s at high altitude below me on their way to distroy a target literally gave me chills and the thoughts of attacking it made me realize what must have gone through the minds of the Bf109 pilots who flew against them. OMG!!!!!!!!!

I am in the MA to stay. But my enjoyment of the experiences flying with and against pilots I came to know and respect and enjoy in the Little Sky Arena will linger forever. I mean that with my whole heart... I have cried over the loss of them. I dispise the b**tards that ruined it.

I have always believed one can only become as good as their best competition; one can only get better by flying against and with the best of the best of the best.

To the Aces of the Big Sky...

KK, I will cease and desist... I should probably resist posting in the forum and add the time I spend doing it to further my survival skills in the Big Sky populated by them Big Bad Boys! ;) :rofl :noid

I use a computer making a living and I love my work... but, if anyone had told me before I came to Aces High that I could actually have fun on a computer and meet so many great and enjoyable people while doing so, I would not have believed it.

I was litterally dragged here by someone in real life... now you couldn't drag me away. I'm hooked like the rest of you! I was initially expecting some kind of a silly arcade game populated exclusively by children. Boy was I wrong!

I love to fly but the only game I have ever actually enjoyed in the past on a computer is solitaire... until now. Who'da thunk it?
