That fog fight was really good fun, something a bit different to the normal furball. Nice to see a CV survive the attention of buffs for more than 5 minutes in the MA as well.

Kudos to Nhawk for creating the fog of war.

There is nothing "mysterious" about the fog at those 2 ports. They have been there since the SMPizza map was released.

I love that fog at those 2 ports ... it adds an interesting twist to both the attack and defense of those ports.

Just another "frustrated" whine ... had the fog worked in his favor ... we never would have heard about it.

People do only notice things when they do not work in their favour.

I remember that veteran Knight player seriously claiming "Rooks have a cheat that prevents a base from flashing!"

Thanks for the flames....

I am just saying, I have never wittnessed "mystery fog" before....on any map.

I HAVE noticed cloud formations between 5K and 10K more recently (in the bombsite, they look like "vertical" clouds, whispy, almost a Cirrus formation at a level more suited for "puffy" clouds in RL) lately.

The "mystery fog" just looked very convinient...socking in both ports were trying to take at the same time.

If the "mystery fog" has been discussed here before, please provide the link as all I get when I search is "invalid search string"...and I would like to learn more about it.

Thanks!

It's not fog it's the dragons breath.

Lynx,

I believe the name of the movie was Dragonheart and Sean Connery played the voice of the dragon, while Dennis Quaid played the knight.
Not a bad film, but not an award winner either.

I wonder if HiTech sits at his monster corner office with dozens of computer monitors, and like Zeus, sees the events unfolding in MA's.  As a whim hits,(ie,,,,I hate the knights) he just interjects random FUBAR situation and tilts his head back roaring with laughter.  HA HA HA HA HA HA<--------(lighting bolts and thunder crashes)

I'll leave the bong at home next time, sorry guys.:noid

I must admit, I was there yesterday and I landed three kills on tanks with an LVT.  It was certainlyNOT easy, frame rate was in toilet.  Also my squaddie (who has recently lost peripheral vision on the right side of both eyes due to a stroke caused by a botched angioplasty) got the capture.  Frame rate still slower than pond water.  Time for new Vid card.

It's not a mystery...it's always been on the Smpizza map. P14, P31 and P69 to be exact. As I said in my last reply, one port from each country has fog at the start of the map. And it comes and goes on a time schedule, not by who's attacking who.

Trust me I know, I put it there. :)
