What moot looks like when AADiesel hands him his tail

A total waste of my time and patience.  I usualy just skip on smack monkeys, but you had to kill a great 1:1 fight with what looked like a decent stick, and then brag about it... That's business as usual, but then you ask for a duel... What were you thinking?
Not only is your smack the same old unimaginative and stale fact-less crap that pollutes channel 200 without any actual fun sportsmanship or challenging gameplay to show for it, but you can't even back it up in practice, nor even follow fairplay like respecting merge alts and cold merges.

I'm not editing anything and will readily admit I was ticked off that I'd let myself be ticked off by such a waste of time as your worthless smack and ACM.

Indeed, you're the proud new owner of a few hundred 50cal rounds of moot's. I didn't even have to manage my E, total manhandling of ACM and gunnery was plenty to put your foot where it belonged.

Low alt fields, he asks my pick of planes, I tell him to pick em himself.
He says "f4-4" which could be either F4F or F4U4, so I reply "F4U4 otr", to which he says "rgr".
We roll and he shows up in an F4F, 1k above me (my charity).  He loses, obviously.
Next three rounds are F4U4s, he loses everytime, without doing anything out of the ordinary ACM you get from mediocre pilots trying to pull up their pants in a hurry when they get their tables turned in the MA.
Actualy, the only thing worth noting is him breaking the cold merge and coming in above merge alt.  He still cant manage anything above average (and that's understating it) despite that.
Pure crap.

Crap like that is a dime a dozen, but I think it's relevent and not just trolling/flaming to post like this because I think it needs to be made explicit just what is different between now and "the good old days".  The good old days are just an idea, when we were in em, we mostly didnt realize they'd be so extraordinary.  But ask any vet around, which last night there were a whole bunch of online (Frenchy, Hajo, Octavius, Wadke, Apar, probably more that I can't recall now), and they'll tell you that barging into a good tight 1:1 happening away from everything else just so you can send one of the two straight off to the tower is pointless.
Just like suicide bombers, FH/CV furball killers (esp. ones that had lasted hours beforehand), spies and other rubbish have reduced the fun of aircombat that AH is so good at.
Speaking of spies, there's a psycho playing around in AH, with a number of accounts, .wingman-ing his targets from one account so he can target them with another account, repeatedly.  It's griefing and a real PITA.

lol.  that was bad.  not merging cold/ HO, called moot a stall dweeb.  I like how at the beginning he is saying you suck, then at the end saying he gave you crap because he didn't know who you where.  Really sad, not sure why he thought he could beat you so easily, aside from just being a person who wants to run their mouth and be obnoxious.  Alot of them in the MA, just the other night, I jumped behind a 51 after a attempted pick, he tried to pick someone else, I caught him, and get called a HO dweeb (mixed with a few other words).

thanks for the RS link.

1st one don't really count.

2nd fight why was Diesel @ 7.4K when 6k was agreed upon merge, and why were they firing on 1st pass?  (both are bad things)  Was kinda sad how fast it was over.

3rd fight they Diesel was 7.5 on vis, then climbed to 10.1k pre-merge??  WTF was THAT about?  Again fired on the merge (tsk tsk) and was destroyed quickly.

4th fight I saw that m00t climbed to almost 7k (tsk tsk) Diesel was 11k this time (tsk tsk) again with the HeadOn @ the merge (tsk tsk) and was again killed quicky in just a few moves.

Never once did Diesel have anything that even kinda resembled a shot on m00t (except for failed ho attempts @ the merge) and was dispatched in a couple of simple moves.

I am saddened for havin' watched that.  It also begs the question "does AADiesel even understand how to duel?"

I can top (bottom??) that.

A week or so ago, a player I'd never heard of started smack talking after a long, very timid, 2 (for them) vs 1 (me) fight that I ended up dying in. I guess I was in a bad mood, because I gave it back, and repeatedly challenged him to try a fight, his plane, any plane, in MA (at agreed on alt/location) or DA. He wouldn't do it under any circimstances, but didn't stop smacking either.

After about 20 minutes of this (I AM ashamed I didnt just squelch him), the CO of his squad steps in and says he will go to DA. Great! (Although it does raise questions about the absolute 'nadlessness of the first guy, openly letting his CO fight for him...)

ANyway, we get to DA, and the guy wants to "fight" in the D3A, or the B5N == the one with NO FORWARD GUNS. It takes me a sec to figure out what he's saying, becuase its so absolutely unintelligible to me -- but that's what he wants to do, relying on either using the rear gun, or "making" the other guy stall. I tell him I will NOT go into the rear gun in a duel, and can't see the point of the match...

We tried one duel in 110s, but he violated the alt limit at onset and I called void. Right after that, he said his wife had accident and he had to go...and when I saw him in the MA, I was relieved to hear she was OK, only got run onto the shoulder by a logging truck.

So if anyone wants to start a non-shooting dueling league, I can get you the name of one likely volunteer!

This must be a trend b/c this has happened to me a couple of times with smack talkers.  MiamiAce was telling me it happened to him the other day too.  I don't get it....

the childish adults with no ACM have taken over the game. hardly anyone is a worthy opponent now, just cherry pickers, runtards etc.

sad sad state the playerbase is in. we need to startup a 'duelling academy' or something, try to teach people first off how to fight properly, but also to teach them some basic ettiquette (not jumping in on a good 1 vs 1).

Exactly my reaction.. I wasn't looking at the screen for moments at a time (e.g. when I broke the 6k ceiling, ground looped) trying to figure out "WTF was this guy thinking?"...

I think the best solution is to promote the better side of aircombat.  E.g. if I see someone on a lone con, I won't spoil it for them, unless they're right about to get shot down and I need their help to fight more cons about to engage.
Once people get a taste of real, good aircombat, they mostly avoid the cheap path of least resistance.

diesel's a tard. has been since day one. in fact there are a few of those AA guys who are full of themselves for no real reason I can discern. I assume they must come from some other games where 12yos scream obscenities at each other instead of actually fighting.

Unfortunately some people can only "win" by cherry picking a good 1 vs 1. To them the "win" is more important than the fight.  :(

It seems the 'sickness' that infected the large maps has overcome the smaller maps too.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.
