Out of all of that discourse, that's me favorite part.  Love it...  :D

You know I dont pay much attention to 200 for a reason just like a couple of threads I have seen here on HOing and kill stealing. I personally am still a noobie from AW3 days and I believe that this is a game. Cartoon planes with having a good time with the people you are flying with.

I try to never steal a kill however I am sure it has happened every so often. At the same time I have had a few stolen, whatever who cares.

I am just looking to have a fun time with trying to outfly other pilots or to steal bases from the other sides.

I think HT should implement a new "FEATURE" next patch, where you can highlight and tun your VOX to whatever ENEMY is in front of you (much like selecting friendlies for chk6)..

that way you can spew profanity and insults at each other DURING the actual fight.. smack talk all you want..

would it help the game? no, but it would make 200 more interesting :D

Yes that was my point everyone wants to pick on my grammer, yet he had 2 posts back to back where he apparently forgot the spacebar, however Im not one to critisize someone on it. but that makes them a hypocryte when they jump all over me for it. It is just one more thing for them to argue about.

Thing is, I and most who like to fight would drag away from all other planes as to get a 1 vs 1, on the other hand, you drug him to a group of your buddies and then HO'd a con they were gangbanging at the time.

funny, everytime you're caught, there is still denial!:aok

Yes I do to, I typicly drag then away for a 1 on 1, but sometimes things cant be helped, sometimes mistakes are made in the direction of the dive.

Skyrock you apparently belive that every single dogfight should be fought in exacly the same manner and the results are always the same.

Every single fight is handled in a different way.  Maybe one day u can grasp this concept. U talk about 1 out of my 400 sorties a month, and base your opinion on me for that. u are not with me for all of them.

Back on topic;

A former CO decides to join forces with another, so we allign our vox channels.

Seeing where this person is fighting, I up and begin heading to him.  As I get into icon range, I find that he is involved in a 2v1 and is in trouble.  I announce on vox, "OMW chk 6".  I enter the engagement hard and overshoot his attacker and reverse, I get a nice shot off and take his attackers wing off saying, "ok the spit (or whatever) is down".  Quickly after this he gets a kill on the enemy he was chasing, then rolls onto my kill and proceeds to fire, taking the kill.  Man I was mad.
"What the heck* are you doing?? He was down!", I exclaimed.
I got no answer except from my CO, "who?"
"ah dont worry about it", I answered and immediately went back to squad vox.

Now this guy is one the better players in the game and to this day it still baffles me as to why he would do this.  He didnt need any help? maybe, but not the way I saw it.  Was he so mad at the attackers that he must kill them both? most likely

Maybe getting a kill stolen is bad, but from someone on the same vox that you're 'supposed' to be working with is way worse.

Alot of you are going to respond "paybacks are a b****", but as I said this person is great stick and redemption is not that easy.

Leaving aside the fact that the whole discussion is really pretty lame I had an interesting one last night. I was watching a nikki who was engaged by a friendly. The nikki pulled up into the bounce and they popped each other pretty good....leaving both planes smoking and apparently out of control. The friendly was going down whil the nikki was just topping out. If I do nothing the friendly augers and I get an easy kill....so I popped the nikki and the friendly got a kill just before he hit dirt.

As a further observation I got assists on multiple planes that looked totally undamaged and racked up a 1/2 dozen kills or more on cons that someone else finished off....one 15 min after I popped the guy.

If you blow the guy up theres nothing left to pick, if not you usually get what you deserve....

Interestingly enough,  I had a run in with this guy today.  He was issuing orders to knights like he was Adolf Galland. When I saluted him and told everyone to listen to General Jones, he called me a noob.

Well, first of all, he did get the kill. I think it was shoot, miss, ram, get kill, then die.

2nd I suck and resent what little good I do being "stolen".

3rd I get mad easy  :-)

only half left wing missing on f4u...plane is still flyable

missing half right wing ...it is flyable and potentially lethal.
