Well, first of all, he did get the kill. I think it was shoot, miss, ram, get kill, then die.
2nd I suck and resent what little good I do being "stolen".
3rd I get mad easy :-)

I was there. Somewhere along the line I remember you telling him that if he "confessed" his sin (pun intended), that you would not post the video.
What about posting the UN edited film? The part where the above conversation happened.
Yes the guy is a noob. He was a noob all night. He was saying and doing noob things. He even admitted to being a noob. You also had him rattled about posting the video. You humiliated him in the MA. Now you post the PARTIAL video here with the express intent of shaming him yet even more? I, personally do not like being quoted out of context, and I'm fairly sure that no one else does either.
I've seen Lute, VansCrew, SkyRock, Fester, SCCA, and many others, kill completely on the first pass, henceforth making a "kill steal" un-possible to use the words of another one-shot/one kill guy (Lusche)
To be absolutely candid, if it is smoking, missing parts, etc BUT still carries a RED tag, I will shoot at it. I may not intentionally chase it down, but if it passes within my field of fire, I will be putting rounds downrange, especially in a furball. The theory for this is that if its not dead, it still has the potential to kill me.
There is no "kill stealing" per se, only finishing off the job correctly. If one makes a career out of chasing halfway disabled planes to finish the kill that is entirely different. Especially if it becomes a habit.
If you can get to the con before me and your gunnery is superior to mine (which unfortunately for me is most of the time), than you deserve the kill. Kudos to you, with all sincerity.
I think the only time I am irked is when I am in a clearly slower aircraft (Hurri, etc), about to acquire a guns solution and just as I squeeze off a few rounds, some yahoo in a faster plane swoops in to shoot at the con I was chasing. Guess which plane the rounds hit? Guess who winds up in the tower? Something about friendly fire........
Not to be a troll here myself, but why edit the video? We all know how to FF and rewind. And, why embarrass the guy twice. Even the convoluted, and backasswards U.S. justice system has rules about double jeopardy.
