Colts are..cheaters?

Well, well , well, seems Indy got busted pumping in crowd noise

I wonder if Bill Polian will be kicked off the competition commitee. I wonder if the Colts will lose draft picks. I wonder if Tony Dungy interpreted the rules wrong.

I wonder if it will be swept under the rug cause ol Bill's on the competition commitee.

This was brought up in 2005. But nobody was ever nabbed or caught doing it. If it happened then, it will continue to happen. The Steelers played them twice, and in both games it was brought up by Bill Cowher and the Steelers players.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

But they just got caught, and it's cheating, what should the penalty be?

15 yards and loss of down.

Not yet, although Greg Aiello said the league is looking into it, but if the audio isn't proof enough, then I guess watching two planes flying into skyscrapers isn't either

Just by watching the video I would think it was the network piping in crowd noise.  But from what I have read people in the stadium heard it too.  Seems like they got caught red handed.

I agree, especially where the commish said the video had no impact on the game cause they watched them for eight minutes and there was no contact with the coaching staff, so there was no cheating.

But the crowd noise did have an impact.

People forget, there was no cheating by the Pats. The rule and the commish clearly stated that. Seeming the colts were cheating, it should be just as bad if not worse

I have the game on digital video recording, or DVR. I watched it twice last night and there was a few times you could hear the sound drop out. But still hear the players calls. At first I thought it was a bad recording, but in the 3rd quarter you could hear the unmistakable wobble wobble sound of a DVD skipping.

I will go home and watch “listen” to the game again.

Belichick, after the game stated they had no "coach to quarterback " communication, so they went old school and used signals from the sideline, and still kick their collective arse.

Holy Denial Batman! :rofl

Yeah, they were not cheating, that's why Bill Belichick was fined the NFL maximum of $500,000 and the Patriots were ordered to pay $250,000 for spying on an opponent's defensive signals.
:huh

Deny? The commish said it and the rules state it, I am not denying anything the commish said

Ignorance is bliss Rip, they were not fined for spying on an opponent's signal, show a link where the commish says that.

They were fined for breaking league rules/bylaws, not cheating, as again, the commish stated

If you want to deny what the commish said, be my guest, but that would make you the one who is in denial
