What a TRIP back in time!

Tonight, I installed the old Air Warrior III CD onto my new computer.

Played a few missions.

WOW.

It is REALLY a great way to appreciate all the work the HTC staff has done to bring our gaming experience to as REALISTIC as they have.

LIGHT YEARS over the graphics of AH.

Dale & the TEAM...well done, folks <>.

hmm...prob by clicking run in win98 or win95 compatibility mode perhaps?

is it safe to ask for an ISO or a RAR file of a game, even though another company owns the rights to it, dare I say the name of that awful company.......

That's all you need for graphics.  It was the mandatory minimum 5-second burst from the guns that sucked!

I still say Aces of the Pacific is STILL the best air-combat sim EVAR.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

We've just been having this discussion in bigweek. I think a lot of people look back on AW with rose-tinted glasses. There is no doubt that AH is vastly superior in every respect.

But: the people who played were just as dedicated, just as enthusiastic, whined just as much, got accused of cheating at least as often, made just as much fuss, spent just as much time organising events, training dweebs, becoming addicted, and took it just as seriously. Most significantly, every generation of AWers lamented the sorry state of the community as compared to a year or too previously and wondered allowed about how all the 'old timers' had been replaced by the screaming dweebs.

Those of us who played AW are extremely lucky AH came along.

Well, since it's impossible to BUY it and there's no active development on it, I'd say yes.
