Questions of conduct...
« on: December 16, 2007, 07:52:17 PM »
I've flown here since Beta and cant ever recall a single day where I had two such distasteful events occur in a single day. Sadly both involved members of squads that I would consider to be highly respected here...

The 1st was personal involving me. Almost immediately after logging on I was repeatedly accused of being a spy, a shade etc by a member of a squad with whom I apparently now have a "dispute" do to a "disagreement" with a single member. I happen to hold most members of this squad in high regard and am very suprised that they would stoop to that level over a pretty trivial issue. I've been here along time and really dont appreciate being openly slandered on country channel.

I also think it reflects poorly on the squad in question and hope its a misquided barb by a single person and not an indicator of that squads conduct as a whole...

The second is more disturbing in that an individual spent most of the day flying around in a plane that was often burning, wingless etc. This wasnt a singular event but happened repeatedly. As per the BBS rules I will not be giving specifics (film is otw to skuzzy) however again its a member of a large well known squad known for "scoring". Conduct like this actually can call the integrity of the entire squad into question. If it was a glitch he should have been forced to relog...if something more then the CO should have booted him and disowned him on 200....

A pretty distasteful undertone to a great day flying with the 71st.

A muppet made fun of you? Which one? I've personally been threatened with real physical violence outside the game on numerous occasions, although not by muppets. Were you seriously hurt by this devastating barrage of words, emotionally or physically, or are you just looking for more opportunities to extoll your virtues and annoy moot?

No real point in mentioning the second event, unless you're saying it was a muppet using that exploit too. Are you?

I called you out thinking that you were Taser in shade, my apologies to you if it really offended you that much. I stopped accusing you after two players that I think very highly of and assured me that you would do nothing of the sort. Again my apologies for thinking it was you.

Just ignore the idiots, and salute the good sports. Anything dubious can be sent via film to HTC.
I too have been here since Beta, but i've grown a pretty thick skin since then ;)

Didnt know I had any virtues to extoll, but annoying moot is kind of fun and habit forming:D

Apologies and clearing up misunderstandings are all worthless unless followed up by these words.

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

I have no idea what transpired with Bear...but that seems to have been worked out amicably.

However, yesterday, JG11 recieved a call for help from the CH's and 71st, in an effort to stop the relentless Bish push in the north.  We responded and joined in on the fight.  I could not believe the crap that the  dweebs of terror were up to.  A Corsair, with NO wings, burning for what seemed like hours but actually was about 7 minutes on film, Flying perfectly, shooting people down and then landing kills....It was BS! Reapeatly this happened.  This was no glitch...This Corair "Cigar" really lived up to the nickname, A flying tube, on fire...just a fuselage, and burning at that, flying like there was no damage at all, and immune to the final kill shot as well...I hope HT bans this guy for life...Sadly, I wasnt surprised by the squad affiliation.   Very sad this kind of crap is...very sad.
