GAH i can't wait till this guy gets PNGed from the Boards

So, just do you your own "PNG" by adding him to your ignore list.

Once you do so, it's like he never even posted - unlike other boards I've been on that show you that the ignored player posted but don't  show you the post - this one you don't even show that he posted - it's like he doesn't exist.

Except when someone quotes him (as you did, for example), that is - then I see his message in the message where it's quoted.

But once you decide that some smacktard is never, ever going to add anything of value whatsoever to any conversation that you'll be ever want to engage in, just set him to ignore and forget him.

You guys just don't get it, H2H that you knew will never come back. IF, and thats a big "if" HTC brings back a smaller arena version the game, there will NOT be a "host" like when people use to host the game. The game will be on HTC servers so that they can maintain control of security. By doing that you willno longer have the control of the arenas like you did. They may give over some arena settings, but I think that would just be asking for trouble.

So what your going to get is pretty much like what you have in the DA at "furball island" no control on whos in and whos out, the same dweebery that you have now there with people coming in only to try and spoil other peoples fun. Doesn't sound anything like what some of you called H2H, and alot like those rooms run by the "kids" and "hackers" that lost your H2H in the first place.

Enjoy !

Just an idea, since I know of a game that uses this idea with great results.

How about HTC gets a few people they trust that can afford to setup a server that will run perhaps 12 hours a day. Get a few of these servers together and give the guys their, "Shifts". Say perhaps at 7:00 P.M. Server A goes offline and Server B takes over and performs a 12:00 hour shift. Then at 7:00 A.M. Server B goes offline and server A comes online for the 12:00 hour shift.

Now here is where it gets interesting and would probably allow something similar to the old H2H. These servers would allow up to 5 games to be hosted on them. You simply would choose the game name, then the game terrain, and launch the game. It would then launch a game on the selected server and the person who launched it would have control over the server (settings, rules, and controlling the server)

However, if necessary, the trusted person who is hosting the server(s) can monitor the arena remotely or join a "neutral region." The neutral region could act as a lobby until there's room to join a team. From here people could chat with each other until they get a chance to join a team. Also this would allow the server administrator to resolve any issues or ban players from the game being played.

Not only would this system allow the old H2H to return. HTC could rest at ease knowing a "trusted person" is hosting the server and controlling it.

Of course I know to make this suggestion operational would take a lot of work, however it's a suggestion to give HTC options. The game which uses this method is called, "Free Allegiance."

HTC has never been known to be "trusting" when it comes to anything having to do with the game, and righly so. H2H was shut down due to some people getting in to the adjustments HTC allowed and tweaked them to "cheat". I don't think you'll see him give up controls again.

HTC is trusting to some extent, they give permissions to the CM team and certain people in the AvA.

Once again, only a suggestion. Never expected it to happen.
