Kosovo Declares it's independence
« on: February 17, 2008, 10:37:26 AM »
While I am happy for the people of Kosovo, I suspect that this will bode very badly for them in the near future.  The EU is replacing the UN with a police force.  I wonder if the majority of the peace keepers might be Serbs or Croats?

EU will be sending peacekeeping forces, Croatia won't have any forces there.
Only forces Serbia could send at Kosovo are the military forces, but it's too weak to attack anyone now.

I did two 6 month deployments to Kosovo.  I'm happy for them, though I do see many problems and violence on the way.  The area so so mixed ethnically and politically. there will always be a few problems.  The Serbs are not happy about this.  I predict that Kosovo will stay independent, but some it's leadrers will pay the price along the way i.e. a sniper killing here, a bomb or two there.

Good.

EU and US again showed that they support genocide, international drug and slave trade. Looks like they are going to get what they deserve.

I advice to give more quotes for Chechen "refugees" - they'll compete at drug and slave markets with Kosovo Albanians.

WTG human rights freaks. I learned that Orthodox and Slavic nations are not "human".

Let a US state declare independence, see where that gets them

That still has to be proven.

And they did it without "international" military forces support.

Edit: I mean - NATO forces there share the responsibility for the genocide of Serbs on Serbian land.

I am glad Russian KFOR corps were removed and didn't participate in final stage of this slapstick a-la Chechnya 1991-94.

I think Serbs may just send their troops there and perform another counter-terrorist operation, like Russians did in Chechnya, and all sane nations should support them.

Look, it's a last nail into a coffin of a Yalta/Helsinki world.

Russia may now annex South Osetia and Abkhazia, 95% of people living there already have Russian citizenship, and we feel like protecting our people with full power of arms.

Nice to see how Western fundamentalists join with Moslim fundamentalists fighting us.

There's a decent article on Serbian genocide Boroda. Of course, you wouldn't believe that the Serbs had committed genocide even if you saw the atrocities happen with your own eyes. Somehow those people would have deserved whatever treatment they got.

They have their own country now. They have no reason to "terrorize" those "peace-loving" slavic nations anymore.
Pavel, you guys and your Serb buddies are safe now ;)

Hmmm.. could that work with Chechenya and others too?
