Maybe it's just me, but I've stopped receiving emails upon new replies without making any changes to my settings (after enabling the emails, of course).

EDIT: Okay, uh...never mind...now I'm getting them, of course. :D

Skuzzy it looks like PNGs still have their PNG tag after you unban em.

That was intentional.

The links are fixed until they've been viewed; the "already clicked links" have no underline.
Fixed.

I can't seem to figure out how to delete threads in private forums, I really need this in the forum I moderate.

It would be nice to be able to create numbers lists as well, the [list=1] thing doesn't work anymore.

More characters for sigs would be nice.  Mine were mostly links.
I will add delete privs to private forums today.  Hmmm,..I had not noticed the 'LIST' code not being available.  I'll see what I can do about that one and I will be reviewing the sig count, but it will not go much higher.  Sigs got severely abused in the old board.  They are not meant to be used for social commentary.

Hiya Skuzzy,
Cannot reply to posts in AH2 Bug Reports Forum.

Any news on not automatically loading pictures in threads?  The old board had it so it just showed the links instead.

Might be worthwhile noting that FireFox was blocking PhotoBucket images on my machine after the BBS update (they worked before). By locally allowing them, they showed up.

Skuzzmaster, would it also be possible for you to make it so the mods can modify posts in locked threads?  Right now I'm having to unlock the threads to make changes.

That is a limitation of the board.  Only full admins can edit locked threads.

Still trying to figure that one out.  If the option is available it will be a global one.

Speaking of Mods, I keep getting these in my e-mail:

Quote
The following post, "*** " by *** has been reported by *** on a board you moderate:

(Link)

The reporter has made the following comment:
***

Regards,
The Aces High II Bulletin Board Team.

This thread is in the General Discussion forum, which I OBVIOUSLY am not a Moderator on. I also have e-mail notifications turned off.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Saxman, you should not be getting those anymore.  I did not realize the board sent an email to every moderator when someone reported a link.  If you are a moderatpr on a private squad forum, you were getting these complaints.

I have since fixed the problem where no one should be getting those unless you are an Admin.

Sluzzy,

I'm surprised no one has asked about this yet, but...

When I look at a forum, EVERY post has a New icon within a blue oval, going all the way back in time to I don't know when.

These posts are most certainly not new, but they are marked as such.

That's because of the board transition. Go all the way to the bottom on the main page (Or use Ctrl-F) and use the Mark All Messages As Read button. When new replies are posted, the NEW tag will show up again in the correct places.

Also, once you do that it looks like if you don't read a thread that has new messages, it will continue to mark it as having new messages until you actually view them.

Specifically, threads will still be marked as New, however forum sections (Bug Reports, General, ect) as seen on the main index will be marked as read upon entering them.

Forums will be marked that way, but the individual threads will not be marked as read unless you use the mark as read inside the forum or from the main board index page.

Llama, looks likt they have it covered.  Thanks guys.

I have fixed the permissions for all the moderators to allow edit and deletes of posts within your private forum.

Basic moderators should be just as functional in thos forums as well.

I hope to have the moderator page better integrated soon.

There currently is no option to allow the user to set the page (number of posts per forum) size.

Is that also for number of posts per thread? And will we be able to set it again in future, or is it gone for good?
