I am getting pretty sick of seeing your fanboism about Red Orchestra.

Aces High is first and formost a flight combat game.  You cannot have ground detail like that in a flight combat game on today's consumer computers and still have a useful view range.

If you really want to play Red Orchestra, please do so, but stop trying to turn AH in Red Orchastra.

In all honesty, the only thing from that SS that looks better than currently possible in AH is the Tiger Tank and the reflection from the water. As it is the Tiger Tank we have in AH is an AH1 shape, and is due for a new object in the future. The trees and buildings in AH look better. the cloud/fog affects are possible in AH right now, just HTC does not change weather settings in the main arenas.

same here, but its not mossi's and its not 5, it Lancs and Ju88's and its like 2 for a frame rate. also i cant give this up, id have to start a war with mom to get a new video card if the graphics wer updated to look like that.

...Then you may buy me the updated hardware I need. Sorry bud, AH is good enough for what it is. HTC is reasonable when it comes to lower end computers/internet connections. I'm running on a four year old machine and have had dial-up internet for ages. DSL is just now making it out here in onion country sometime this summer.

There is a big difference between a high end boxed game, and a Online one in terms of what is possible.
Both in terms of what computer is required to run it, and the networking requirements.

Boxed games also have BIG development teams with big money behind them.
They need to make big bucks to pay for all that.

For 2010 I would like to see AH3.
Slightly updated graphics, but REAL water, with subs, player controllable destroyers, E boats, etc.
Flying Boats, recon planes, sub hunters, the works.

Thats what I'd "like" to see for 2010. But if I don't get it I'll still be happy flying here in AH.
Because there is always something new to learn, always new hills to climb in search of new vistas.
