We switched to Vista at our office- of course I don't recommend Vista to non computer people, or even people with some knowledge of operating systems, but in the hands of an expert (like me) Vista is the only way to go.

Work just got me a Tilt WM 6

actually it is the schizznit. I can even remote in to our servers and restart services / whatever if I have to from anywhere.

On topic too I am about to get a new laptop, I can either get Vista ultimate 64 or XP... the problem is I have to choose, and I will need to keep this thing as my main work PC for a good 3 years. In the business environment I am in I can't take a flier that XP will be up to the job 2 years from now, especially with the DB work ahead of me and server 2008 taking over. Add in the 64 bit apps I will have to test and stuff. It looks like I HAVE to choose Vista.

Bill Gates just announced that Microsoft plans to release Windows version 7 in 10 months.

Apparently Microsoft is disappointed in Vista's reception in the market, and is aiming to replace it soon.
