I have done it countless times.  It has also happened to me too.
Thats because, as it is said, 'You're doing it wrong'. You need to come from a high angle of approach so you can penetrate the top armor. In doing this, you are also avoiding the main gun as it can not traverse all the way up.

Like he said you're doing it wrong. Iv only been killed once by a tanks main tank gun in a B25. That was when a sherman got on the the edge of one of mini hills and put his turret all the way up. I didnt notice what he was doing until it was to late. :)

I've seen bronks video on tank busting.  I know how its done.

Until HTC decide  to implement a realistic gunnery/damage model for GV's there is no need for 87g
A thread stated they could kill a Wirbelwind turret (16mm armor ) with a .45 handgun.


My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.
