Arby's is buying Wendy's!

Thats good, I love their roast beef, but theres none anywhere near where I live (we have one about 10 miles from my college here).

Do you remember when Arby's actually cut the roast beef that were roasting in their ovens in front of you and make your sandwich? Or am I dating myself by stating this....

Was fun to see a tray hooked onto the drivers side door with burgers and drinks.

Bet some of you kids never been to a Drive In movie either. In a station wagon with pillows and blankets in back. Sharing the bottled Coke, Popcorn and Good-n-Plentys. 

Todays kids are spoiled.

Oh well... you missed out.

I know of 2 not far from my house. They can be fun as long as the bugs aren't too bad.

There are still a few Root Beer places that will serve you at your car. There is an old A&W place near me that I used to go to after hockey when I was little, I loved that place, the food was awesome.

Bet some of you kids never been to a Drive In movie either. In a station wagon with pillows and blankets in back. Sharing the bottled Coke, Popcorn and Good-n-Plentys.

Not only do I still remember it,  I know an Arby's that still does it,  hmmm at least the last time I was in there they did, its been a couple of months...

I miss Bob's Big Boy... lots of good memories there... dinner out with the grandparents... Hot Wheels car for my birthday 1968...

Even the little town of 660 people I grew up in (Hugo, Minn) had an A&W drive in. Very fond memories of it. Forest Lake (larger town just 10 miles north) had a DOUBLE sided drive in. Woot! Very fond memories of dripping ice cream in the back seat of Dad's new car and getting hollared at for it.
