Hit a bomb and you blow up?

I shot down a pair of Lancasters that was just dumping his ords out to clear a field so rooks could have a new baseball diamond, when I flew off to the left, when i noticed bombs were flying all over the place, and hit one of the bombs and exploded.

Thats last time I ever do high angle attack on a bomber and dive under it. Hit one of the bombs you go boom. On the funny note He did mark his own country mates tiger tank with the salvo he dropped. Any one else have this happen?

I hit a b17 takeing off with a lucky bomb before...I killed 2 of his planes

I've seen a video of a Ju-88 taking out a formation of buffs like this before....

LOL I thought I had it made, guy was more interested in bombing and not interested in gunning being so low. I made 2 split-s attacks head on and on my 3rd attempt coming down from a high 6 noticing he wasn't firing i made a diving pass, and boooom got the 3rd buff but his bomb got me, even worse it gave him a kill for his bomb killing me LOL

I was flying around and defending one of our bases when i looked above me
just as a bomb landed in my lap.  Msg said 999000 shot u down.

Bad part is i spewed beer all over crt and keyboard and while still choking-
looked slowly at lap thinking be glad it's just a game ole buddy.

I've done that...when I was a noobie actually...I thought it was just a big fighter, and I went and dropped my ord on the set of 24s and killed it.

I've seen pictures in the screen shot thread where someone killed two people with the bombs on the 234 in air. Not sure if they're still there.

The coolest thing, in my opinion, is that this was a tactic used in real life

I have hit bombs while flying above the bomber.

A formation of B-26s was attacking our CV.  The bombers where level and I was approaching from the bombers front-right quarter.   I fired a long burst into the lead bomber’s right engine hoping the bomber would swerve off its bomb run if the engine would die.  My flight path was going to carry me over the lead bomber and over the fin of the number 2 bomber.  Well I never made it to the second bomber.  Just as I was passing over the lead bomber’s right engine, it released its bombs.  The bombs where stacked up above the bomb bay with the last two bombs showing above the bomber’s fuselage.  I hit the upper most bomb and was instantly back on the CV.  I was there in plenty of time to witness the sinking.

Jeeze, there's just no safe place to be around 999's bombers, is there?
