Hillary 2012

Did the Democratic nomination race hurt or help Hillary for another Presidential bid?

I think it helped her.

I'll post more thoughts later today.

If McCain wins then Hillary may have a shot in 2012. If Obama wins and is voted out in 2012 not likely a democrat will replace him. No way Hillary will have a shot in 2016. I don't think the Country will elect a 68 year old woman, but I could be wrong.

don't know..  I don't think 4 years of working at looking like she is human is enough time to convince people.. Maybe 8 years if she can learn to smile like she isn't going to eat your child....  maybe if she hasn't killed anyone  in those 8 years or been too shrill...

Hillary will make a great president in 2016.  After the last 7 years of Republican rule, I don't think anyone with common sense will ever vote for them again.  Boy they sure screwed things up. Here's to big government, big spending Republicans, funny that the Democrats are more conservative than the Republicans.  Liberal conservative, I like that.  Focus on  changing our social system in a positive way, while conserving our environment for future generations.  Makes you feel all funny inside...

All of this talk about Hillbillary being VP, is just that. She has played this lose well, if she offers to serve as VP and is turned down, then when Hussein Obama loses to McCain, she can claim it was because she wasn’t on the ticket. If  Hussein Obama wins, then she can run in 012 as the candidate for “change”.

After the last 7 years of Republican rule, I don't think anyone with common sense will ever vote for them again.
There have only been two Dems elected in the last 40 years, gee, I guess this country has reallty sucked in all that time? :huh

mojava.. unless you count taxes..

the democrats are the hidebound conservatives.. if by conservative you mean hidebound and afraid of change.

It is they who stop all nuke power when the world is progressing to it..   It is they that stop exploration for new oil and stop new coal tech.  It is they who take money from road taxes and spend it on failed social programs... It is they who are stuck in the union/public school rut and can't even progress to voucher system of good education.   While the country embraces right to carry laws.. they stick with their same old thousands year old gun control schemes.

So yes.. you are right.. they are "conservative" in that manner.. still going strong on the failed socialist ideas of their party that are over 50 years old.... old hidebound liberal ideas put forth by dinosours like kennedy are being championed by the half white guy they are running today.

Yep, higher taxes , big government, big spending, failed foreign and domestic policies, failed economic policies.  No child left behind?   I'm pretty sure that if your high and mighty Republican elected officials weren't making a substantial amount of profit, we would have drilled for more oil, or changed any of the other things you pointed out.  I mean hey,  you guys held the office of President, the House and Senate,  but it's the Democrats fault?

She'll be back for sure.  How she does will be determined by what kind of smoke-screen she can lay out over the next few years, as lazs stated.

Her attempt to gain the ultimate office and thereby more power will never go away unless she is so soundly defeated she will sink further into mediocrity like her fellow scumbag teddy. Oh and MT it has absolutely nothing to do with which restroom she uses.

mojava.. do you ever think before you drink the koolaid?   do you realize that the average tax burden for most of us of medium income is a couple grand lower than when klinton was in power?

Do you really think it is republicans who introduce bills that restrict drilling and nuke power and vouchers?   Most of this stuff happened in klintons day.. the republicans have tried for a long time now to get more areas opened up for exploration of resources.

Hillary isn't going anywhere. She had already secured over 2 billion in earmarks for her district to make sure all the hand-outs were in order if she lost.
