I came ever so close to buying Devon as an opening stock, but backed off. It jumped $5 a share today. :cry

Golly-geenit Dell!  I put a limit buy order at 22.00 thinking you were just going to barely bottom out there.  Of course, at the last minute it went down another 11 cents.

Now that I'm looking at the Year Long chart, it might have been a bad idea.  However if I only analyze the monthly chart, it's looking like a good idea.

I did what I thought I needed to do and got signed up.

Picked some stocks last night that did pretty well.

I was up 690 at the bell. 

I look again and it only took the trade I made today...all the other trades are on another page and didn't count :O

What did I do wrong?  Ideas?


EDIT PS>>> YIKES, I have 2 different portfolios!  A personal one & a game one.  How do I get my personal stocks on my game portfolio and ditch the personal one?


EDIT>>EDIT>>>I think I have it figured out.  Kept Aces High 3 portfolio and transfered my holdings from today to the new one for buys tomorrow.  Personal portfolio deleted.

Can we have one outside the game?  Is that a no-no?

I had diversified...did well on the profile I had to cancel.

Tomorrow's buys should be very interesting.  Going long on most.

Just stocks, no commodities?  No gold?

Sorry...rookie year questions.


I am SHOCKED at how many went with satallite radio & companies that make SUV's!  They can't give those away!

To be honest, twice I bought Comcast at a low of 22.60 or so, and twice it rose giving me $1,000+.  I may just keep buying and selling Comcast itself unless I see something I HAVE to buy.


Is "SkuzzyMeister" actually skuzzy?  Just curious (if we're all going to get PNG'ed if he loses).

Comcast might end up being a good pick.  Cable subscribers tend to be loyal, so do cell phone companies as long as there are few problems.

Some folks will  :rolleyes: at my picks for tomorrow...everything from defense contractors to casinos.   :D

I think the market (bear) is very different over this time last year.  Either I'm going to hit it big or be living under a virtual bridge abuttment by next week.

I think Donzo is purposefully tanking.



Anyway, on Friday I will delete those players from the game who have not made any trades.  They'll definitely be welcome to rejoin, however it just makes the rankings easier to see if we keep out the people who have done nothing.
