Gas prices continue to skyrocket but most player's gas/oil/energy stocks are tanking??

Just because gas prices are increasing doesnt mean the companies will be making more money long term.. If the oil companies stock is going south right now, I would guess people are either speculating a sharp drop in demand, just following the market, or a oil bubble is about to burst at these levels.. Who knows though..

My tip, go short on BBI (Blockbuster).

I'm actually not that worried.  I'm only down 20 cents from purchase price.  Tomorrow will rebound.

However, sell by noon, 1:00 at the latest.

I've cleared out the 3 people who haven't traded.  They are definitely invited to join again.  It's just that it's not fair to keep them relatively high in the rankings against people who have actually made an effort to make money.

The website we're doing it on is completely Bob Smith.

All the loading glitches, "can't show" glitches, slow loading glitches....if this website were the real deal they would be sued three ways from Sunday and would have been shut down.

The market has been open for an hour and 2 of my trades still haven't gone through.  I have already lost $86 on one stock alone because of it.

The website is a joke.

Just a few suggestions for your next game... Why have $9.95 trades when you could pretend you were using Choice Trade.. ( my real life broker) they offer $5.00 trades even on pennies which is why I use them but they are a very good broker. Which brings me to my other suggestion.. Why limit @ 0.10 on the trades?  If you are playing with $100k surely $5k could be set aside for the sub $.10 cent stocks.

You guys with the penny anty stocks are crazy!  Have you checked the 3/6 month and 1 year charts on those?  They are a rollercoaster to H-E-double-hockey-sticks.  They go for 10 cents to nothing in a heart beat.

I gave up on most of my energy stocks and went with pharmiceuticals.  APPX is up 32% this morning alone.  Everytime I go to the pharmacy to get the 3,400 meds my doc has me on it reminds me that those $2 a pill companies are making a killing.

400 of APPX short (day trade) will make you a few bucks.

IBM is looking good today as well.

Price of oil is dropping.
