Ink, where are you located and what abouts do you charge? To start with, NO: I am not considering getting a tatoo myself, I hope to go into a career as a military officer, and in my oppinion, things like tatoos don't go very well with an Air Force O-club, (at least not in my experience). However, my girlfriend is considering getting a small, discreet tatoo, and you seem to do brilliant work.

thank-you guys truly,

Ink, where are you located and what abouts do you charge? To start with, NO: I am not considering getting a tatoo myself, I hope to go into a career as a military officer, and in my oppinion, things like tatoos don't go very well with an Air Force O-club, (at least not in my experience). However, my girlfriend is considering getting a small, discreet tatoo, and you seem to do brilliant work.

i am located way up in Maine at this moment, about an hour from the Canadian border, as far as cost goes, you said " small discreet " so with that for reference, i would say less than $100, depending on detail, or if its on foot, feet cost at least $ 100, and if its crazy detail and small it could be as much as $200, but i would venture a guess that its her first, so im sure it wont be that detailed, the cheapest it would be is $60, for thats my min.

Too bad you're not close to me ink, I need a tat redone that I had someone start last year and royally f'ed up. In the process of searching for a true artist (thought I had one last year).

Ink is also right. I have tats, but you can't see them when I am at work. As a manager and a tat wearer, it's not appropriate to on some jobs to have certain piercings or visible tats.

ya that is one thing that bugs me about how popular tatts have become, everyone wants to do them and most only think they can draw, now i am not saying you have to be able to draw to do tatts, but if you cant draw what happens when the stencil wears off ?
although i don't use stencils so i dont have to worry about that. :D

I haven't got access to a myspace account at the moment but from what's on your front page there is some outstanding work there.

Perhaps, some time in the future, I could email you with my ideas (which are not are not put onto paper or photoshop file clearly enough yet) and pay you to do the artwork?

Given that I live on the other side of the world I'll have a hard time actually getting to you but having the artwork would be a great place to start. I was really keen to have the artwork done by someone who knows about WWII aircraft and that is proving to be rather difficult.

I doubt that it will be any time soon, I'm still grappling with the decision as it will be my first tattoo. As far as the tattoo itself goes, it's probably the only thing I'll ever want and I'm no stranger to other forms of body mods, so I'm just concerned with actually having a tattoo. Scars fade, piercings can be removed but tattoos are for life and, as much as I know that I will never regret the subject of the tattoo, I may well end regretting getting a tattoo with so much coverage later in life.

i have a client that wants me to do a p-40, her granddad flew them.
as far as pics go for your idea i dont need that, you can tell me what you want and i would do all the artwork.
time is not a concern, i will always have the myspace, nice easy way to get a hold of me, and as far as payment goes i don't charge all that much just for artwork.

again thank you guys your words do mean alot to me.

So you can do aircraft well? Yeah, it's her first, and it won't be too soon, (She's doing the year rule rather than the six-month rule) but she knows im a bird-brain and wants to get a plane. B-17 most likely since I love that bird almost as much (maybe more if she isn't in the room! lol) as her.

You rang? :) No, I haven't done any coral snake tattoos. But, tomorrow if I get the time I'll draw something up for ya and post it. See if you like it, if there are parts that you want changed let me know what you want changed. Since your an AH'er I won't charge you my $40 dollar deposit.
Reason I do that when I draw something up for a customer is, if they back out of it I at least got the $40 bucks so I didn't completely waste my time.

I will post it tomorrow, if not tomorrow I will have it up Wed.

Regards,
Kjetil

I laugh everytime I see one of those lower back tattoos on girls... in about 25 years imagine all the old ladies with stretched out tattoos on their lower back - gonna look real sexy then lol
