not all of those players are score potatos.  N72 is consistently number one in fighters in the MW he is a clean player and does not pad nor does he play for score.  furthermore, in my opinion he is amongst the very best ever players I have run across to play this game.

dextur was ranked 15 in gvs and was ranked 1 in less than 2 hours. at one point he was no.1 in 3 catagories. i wondered how he did that.  :(

N72 is a class fighter ... but I don't thing that he could ever be accused of being a "score potato" ... unless he starts killing you a lot ...  ;)

I've never seen one who was better, so I don't know where you're getting this "among" word from.  Point is that N72 probably doesn't even know what his score is, and would not be disturbed if it were placed somewhere at the bottom of the screen.  I think that's true of most of the really great players.  I've always thought that eliminating score would eliminate a lot of the dreadful flying practices that can mar this game.

just an idea - there are separate scores for each of the EW, MW and LW, how about separate perks for each arena too?

That would at least stop perk farming in the empty EW or MW to use those perks in the LW.

there are many great players in this game and oftentimes the outcome of a match is determined by someone having an off day.
