See what you mean on the ol' he said she said, similar mess to the Balkans, Kind of like watching ch200 when the usual 'HO or not a HO" starts up, From a millitary point of view, I'd be Interested to hear if both sides were using the same equipment? And I was also surprised to see a Georgian Drone getting shot down, I never knew they were that adavnced, Unless these drone thingys are cheap on the market maybe.
Cheers

This isn't about South Ossetia anymore.

Lol! You and I knew that from the beginning. As someone pointed out, you don't have a couple of motorized divisions ready to jump off without doing a little pre-planning and deployment.

As for the rest, just a little "mission creep" comrade.

I guess by the justification offered by the Russian apologists here, the US can now mission creep into Iran's nuclear reactor system because the Russians have set a precedent right?  :rofl  I mean, the Russians did it so we can too, right?

....to anyone with a heartbeat.

The BS smokescreen has always been important to the Russians. They always pick their fig leaf well in advance, even if it doesn't really hide anything.

They didn't stop with just South Ossetia. They grabbed Abkhazia and now occupy the strategic port of Poti in Georgia proper, not to mention Gori.

This isn't about South Ossetia anymore.

Poti had one Russian armed patrol a week ago. Abkhazs finally took upper Kodori gorge, without Russian assistance. Gory was inspected for left weapons, and now there are no Russian troops there.

Looks like you watch old BBC news.

"Russian tanks launched an attack on Tbilisi 12th time this week!!!" Just baiting I suppose :D

Georgian military is crushed completely, Russians secure SO border, it's all finished 3 days ago, if you didn't know. Tune to Russia Today, they work faster then BBC ;)

Now tell me your war criminals were right about WMD in Iraq.

BTW, Georgian pictures and videos of "Russian atrocities" are staged: http://blogs.yandex.ru/cachedcopy.xml?f=ab0cb809e21cb3aeb4a8acc83e71ab41&i=1241&m=http%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.livejournal.com%2Fgeorgia_war%2F349023.html

It's an interview with a "photo artist" on Echo of Moscow.

Drones were sold to Georgia by Israel. Israel already declared that they don't supply arms to Georgia any more.

Oh there definitely were WMDs in Iraq. The real question is what happened to them? I bet someone in Russia knows.

Saakashvili signed yet another cease fire agreement :) He also accused Russians of multiple crimes like poisoning Victor Yuschenko and crucifying Jesus Christ.

Hmm, Russia crushing the Georgian army?
There would be something really wrong if it were not so, Boroda.
However, Russia should not expect to be able to crush just anybody with conventional force...not today.
So, Russia was gambling right and trusting that the Georgians didn't get back-up.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

So, you're saying that Saddam destroyed all his WMDs yet would not show proof to the UN? I guess he just wanted to be hanged huh? We should never have hemed and hawed for so many years over this giving him more than ample time to hide them in Iraq, Syria, or who knows where. I find it very difficult to believe Russia was not complicit in this.

He didn't?! UN inspectors left Iraq only after US declared an attack.

I find it very difficult to believe the US attacked Iraq for some WMD, 20000km from mainland US. Your regime wanted Iraqi oil, and didn't mind killing a million civilians to get hold on it.

US aggression against Iraq was unprovoked and criminal. In this casew comparing US to Iran isn't in favor of US. Iran didn't do anything nearly compared to your crimes in Yugoslavia and Iraq. And remember, in Yugoslavia you directly supported terrorists. KLA was declared a "terrorist organization" by US congress in Autumn 1998.
