I get the feeling, Saakashvili, is a crook and a coward. :aok

Did you see a video when he runs and covers fearing Russian planes in Gori, when it's his own artillery still shooting at Tskhinval after another "cease fire" he signed?... :D

What Western press wrote about Saakashvili back in 2004:

It's incredible... the russians are stripping the georgian countryside, dynamiting buildings, knocking down rail bridges, destroying public assets. The public face they put on these operations is either 'uncontrolled separatist reprisals' or 'georgian renegade units'.. even 'impsoter russians'.

Meanwhile... the 'real' russians (the ones posing for the russian approved foreign media) have not withdrawn.... why? Because their bad actor units ain't done stripping the country yet and remain hopeful the Georgians, in their fury at being raped, will launch a counter attack. Then they'll be 'justified' in seizing the 'ineffective government' of the nation in it's entirety.

peace in our time

i hold in my hand a piece of paper signed by the president of Russia guaranteeing a cease fire and withdrawal from Georgia.

in related news Russian tanks move deeper into Georgia

is it time to send stinger missiles and anti-tank rockets to Georgia? You Russians remember them from Afghanistan don't you? Maybe you need a refresher course.

I think so... but we should do it Korean War style; using the Russian model. They sent 'volunteers'... and first line commie equipment, ala Flying Tigers pre-WWII. I'm sure we can scrounge a few attack helicopter squadrons, a few a-10 wings, some F-22's, AWACS, J-Stars.. all volunteer, mind you; with the appropriate georgian markings. They need not be all american volunteers... I'm sure there's more than a few eastern europeans that would love to join the effort... Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians, Ukranians, poles would all love to come and play.

Since the only 2 ways into georgia from russia are through the mountain passes up behind s. ossetia and abkahzia; close them down first. Then destroy anything that flys or attempts to drive over the border.. Once ingress and egress to the battle zone is secured, rip the russian armor and arty to shreds, piece, by piece. Use our elint and tracking systems to destroy every single piece of russian and separatist commo gear that comes up on the air.

When it's over, deport every russian passport holder back to russia... along with their 'peekeepers', and hand over administration of the separatist area's to a true multinational peekeeping force.

They report Russians 30km from Tbilisi at least 3 times a day since they ran their fat NATO-trained arses from SO on Aug 8th.

Looks like Russians are just baiting the poor loosers :D Each time someone warms up a tank engine at Tskhinval - Georgians run all the way until they are 30km from Tiflis :D

Destroying infrastructure? Elaborate please. It's kinda hard to watch BBC-only 24/7. They are... Unprofessional. I'd better watch Vesti-24.

No they didn't. UN administration already said that humanitarian aid doesn't reach Georgian refugees, and blames it on GE autorities. Looks like Georgian police and administration is tearing Western aid apart and runs away to Turkey/Armenia/Azerbaijan.

We don't try as hard as you did in Vietnam or still "try" in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am awfully sorry. :(

Looks like people you or your friends train in Georgia again have met a superior force like back in 1972.
