When are we getting the nuke they used the nuke in WW11. Can you imagine a base capture with a nuke.
I was playing a game called World In Conflict, and we have tactical nukes there... Theyre AWESOME!!! But they wouldn't fit with AH. Even in WiC, which was designed with the tactical nuke in mind (The game almost revolves around it) if you are looking at the patch of ground where that nuke hits, youre frame rate goes to NOTHING. And while its really not that upsetting to the game overall (Radiation affects your tanks and infantry as well, so rather than opening up a CP to be captured, you really are just taking it off the map. Plus, they require a lot of points to be stored, for a last-ditch effort.) even in a game for them, they do kinda screw things up a bit. Fortunately, almost no one ever uses them.
But, just a little bit of a teaser:
I tried to break down the stages of a nuke in game, so you could see what AH would have to develope, but this is the best I could do with that FR:
So, much more preferable arr the slightly more conventional weapons, such as napalm:
(Watch the infantry
)
Daisy-Cutters:
Airlifted tanks:
And good old fashioned artillery:
This is not a hijack, just an insight into how some other games that DO have nukes work. While the Nuke may be uber, the absolute BEST tactical aid (As theyre called) Is just a well timed airstrike and a coordinated tank assault. Wait, AH has airplanes... and tanks... so why the **** do we need a nuke?
