Whether good or not....is not for me to judge.  (I am pretty tired of hearing about her husband being a champion "snow machine" racer, though.)

I will say, there was very little in the way of specifics contained within her speech.  It was incredibly "soft". There was very little meat in this speech.... soft jabs at Obama and some relatively minor poo flinging, notwithstanding.  I don't think she's helping or hurting the McCain Camp, I do think she's in waaay over her head.  Her part in this election is slowly drawing to a close.  The surprise factor is wearing off.

Her writer needs to be fired, as well.  Talking about herself as a Washington outsider not interested in "the Washington crowd" doesn't really help her candidate, who has been one of those "insiders" for almost 3 decades.  Perhaps the VP candidate is already distancing herself?   :lol

The hockey mom and lipstick line was an adlib.  She looked up, saw the banners and went right with it, then winked at the moms (LOL!), then dove right back in where she left off.  To pull that in the biggest moment of her life?  Wow, I mean wow...

Nothing like insightful political analysis from a porn merchant and a grocery store clerk.

A porn merchant? That sounds very Republican of you. Care to point out just what porn sites and such I'm a member of?
I'm sure I'm within the same rights as you to point out that you are a member of NAMBLA and the Society To Rape Underage Virgins (STRUV).

Romney really isn't anyone I'm worried about...

Huck has tons more cred then him.  Romney is a non-issue and I'm actually a little surprised they had him speak.

Huckabees and Guilani's speach were my favs. They provided the main spanking of Obama, Palin then just followed it up.

Agreed.

Hang, you can circle jerk from now to November, it won't sway my vote.
I'm waiting untill after the debates. But enjoy that supply of DuraLube.

RPM.. no problemo! I know you've got a brain; and I figure you've got your priorities. I like her, I like the concept, I like the platform. I especially like the fact that the next two months will be at least entertaining.

... and we'll both enjoy the VP debate; in fact, I'll hop out on a limb here and predict they will be more widely watched than the presidential debates.

Ain'tcha at least happy to be entertained?

TWENTY-TWO years in uniform, for our country.  Wow..didn't know that.  McCain said he'd rather lose the election, rather than the war.

How can you not respect that?

How can you not respect a woman who's son and nephew are both serving to defend our country?
