Palin Speaks!
« on: September 03, 2008, 09:33:22 PM »
Let's see how this goes...
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

That's 1x. Nephews, cousins, ect. don't exactly count unless you're fishing.

Anyone else notice the number of times she has said "small town" and the way she sorta stretches it out every time she says it?

" Our duty is to serve the status quo and leave it better than we found it"....

That seems to counteract the last 8 years.

OK, now she's starting to shovel the sheet. She refused earmark funding??

She refused it when it was politically convenient. In other words while she was Mayor she managed to get 27 million in federal earmarks for her little population of 6,700 town. She didn't mind taking Federal ear mark money then and in fact hired Jack Abramoff 's law firm to bring in the big bucks. By the time she ran for Governor Ted Stevens was already in trouble for the bridge to no where and other shady stuff.

So at that point she suddenly became "against" federal earmarks and ran her campaign against them and while governor made big deals about turning the money down. In short she was for it and against it when ever he was good for her political career. In other words she's a flip flopper. So only in the last two years did she suddenly find Jesus and made big deal publiclly of course about turning down the money. It screams of political convenance to me..  ;)
