And the repubs didn't do the same to Kerry?

Kerry was an idiot though. Everyone who ever served with him in his platoon hated him.

When the film started I half thought this was going to be a breakdown on psychological fitness like a post-traumatic stress analysis but the temper thing? They were ready to put Hillary in a year ago and she would make volcanos look tame by comparison and now they criticize McCain for it? Very disappointing yet very typical too.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Low life liberals......bringing in someone who served with him to denigrate his reputation like that, they should be ashamed.

In all honestly though.
As I say about my father in law all the time (WWII vet)

The only ones who have the right to judge him are those he served with and faced those hardships with.

Now this guy has every right to feel about McCain whatever way he wants. He served with him.
On the other hand. You could probably find other people who served with him that have a different opinion

He knew him when he was a POW. Big deal.

Doesn't mean hes the same person then that he is now.

By the same token I made that very same argument as to his experience not necessarily  qualifying McCain for being President.
I too said it was a long time ago and shouldnt be a factor.

Cant have it both ways

He was sunk with his own damned torpedo.  The fool.

When you say "his own torpedo", are you referring to his Anti-war activities following the end of his Active-duty, and subsequent return, from Vietnam?

A fellow POW speaks about McCain, indeed. I give you Colonel Bud Day:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bud_Day

Col. Day is the most highly decorated US veteran since Douglas MacArthur - MOH and everything else below. He was not only a fellow POW, he was John McCain's cellmate in prison. I read his biography last year:

http://www.amazon.com/American-Patriot-Life-Wars-Colonel/dp/0316758477

In it, Col. Day's account of McCain's behavior paints a picture of a man who was valiant in his resistance to the North Viet Namese captors, and in his leadership of others to also resist. This from a man who spearheaded the resistance movement - once escaping and making it overland through North Viet Nam almost to the DMZ before being re-captured.

I think I'll take this man's account as accurate. It confirms McCain's account. 'nuff said.

Honestly, if anyone listened to Macs acceptance speech he said in no uncertain terms that he came away from VN a totally different person than he went.  So basically this guy is saying that Mac was a selfcentered hothead.  I think Mac himself acknowledged that in his speech.  He also said that while he was a POW he learned the value of his freedom and has never forgotten it.

If the best they can come up with is that Mac was a selfcentered hothead when he was young (most young men are) and that former POWs don't live as long as "normal" people, they are in serious trouble.

This was a very, very lame attempt at "swiftboating."

A bad temper 40+ years ago. Pretty pointless video. And to state he's not fit to lead based on that video is just retarded. But hey maybe Obama can smile pretty and scare our nations enemies away.

Actually his infamous bad temper is fairly well known all over capitol hill.
and while they are known more for having happened behind closed doors even with fellow Republicans.
Its occasionally spilled over in public

His temper is the one thing he didnt leave behind 40 years ago. LOL

If he posted here he would give Skuzzy a nervous breakdown LMAO

These last two are put forth by CNN. So take them for their worth.
but I havent seen nor heard anything that would lead me to beleive they were less then accurate.
Quite the contrary.

I dont knock McCain for his Temper.
If in fact I see it as one of his strong suits.
Might make the rest of the world fear him like they did Regan.

And to paraphrase an old friend of mine.
I'd rather people fear him for what he is. Then love him for what he isnt

Oh man So... did McCain get a fine from the FCC for that first video..  :rofl

On the more serious note his temper and out of the blue pick of Palin with out properly veting her just shows the guy doesn't think clearly while under pressure. I can't say I'd want someone with a temper like that making decisions in a time of crisis that might take us to war or even a nuclear war.
