schlowy, the performance of luftwaffe aicraft is modelled just fine, the 109K is one of the best fighters in the game.  Your claim that the 109 & 190 is undermodelled seems to stem from your inability to fly them well, plenty of other people can fly them successfuly.  Spend some time in the TA i'm sure it would help, i will even help train you if you wish- as long at it stops all this "x is biased" and "x is undermodelled" nonsense.

Nockel, this game does rule, its awesome, but you kinda have to accept the modeling, and some, like me, feel the luftwaffe doesn't get enuf 'luv' from the 'ghods.'

Schlowybrain your not quite with it are ya.  Firstly the chap nockel asked if there were Germany squads....as in folk from Germany.  He wasn't asking about Luftwaffe squads which very much has escaped your intellectual level.

Secondly I don't "hate" Luftwaffe" planes I just don't need them in my style of game play.  Again this has escaped your intellectual level because anyone reading my score card would automatically deduce <that means work out> I'm mostly carrier based and TnB.  I think you'll find many will attest to this.

I could go on with this thread and highlight your ineptitude point by point but getting a complete "spanner" to understand he's a complete spanner isn't worth time.

And if you think the 109's are something now, imagine if they didn't compress sooo badly, etc, etc, etc?
Spit Dweeb, or Lgay, or gay7, runstang, should I even mention the corsairs, or the best plane in the whole war... the hurri (given 3k alt...). There are no names like this for 109s or 190s, except maybe 'luftwobble'...
Goto capped base, do Alt I, and see ~95% both of red and green are flying. Mostly its us hardcore's flying 109's or 190s, and because of the games obvious bias, we are becoming extinct in AH. Or sit back and read the 'so-in-so landed XX kills in a PLANE'... 109's and 190s its usually two or three, its that other stuff landing 10 and more (nm the fact about re-arming, either could do).
I stoppped in here 11 years ago not long after AW3 and said hell no. Total of about 1 year in here... begining to wonder why I come back at all.

Schlowy, the only thing with an obvious bias is you.  What is so bad about the 109 and 190, seriously.

The 109s don't compress badly etc. the elevator requires trim at high speed but this has nothing to do with compression.  You are wrong if you think the the hurri is the best plane in the game, they are relatively easy to deal with- especially in a 109.   Why do people make derogative names about certain aircraft?  You know as well as i do it's because they were frustrated at being shotdown.

I'm not a dedicated luftwaffe flier such as yourself but i like to fly the 109 every now and then, apart from the awful forward view in G series there's little wrong with them. I can even post some films of me getting kills in it to show you that it's entirely possible to get kills in the 109- so can plenty of other people in AH, I frequently see high number of kills landed in the 109/190 in the MA.

Actually kid, any decent stick will be targeted first just by reputation first. Anyone knows im in a 109 I just about get targeted all the time.
As far as you saying the me109 is not modeled well, you never seen one flown or can fly one in game for that matter.

Spit dweebs because fact that people fly easy mode planes just because they are lazy or do not want to learn to fly something with little more skill.

Obviously Bias? You really are acting 13 - so lets get your fact straight here - I believe every pilot has a plane of his choice he likes, regardless of political or war winning attitude. Most that do join this game are more towards the P-51 and Spitfire why? Because it was the war winners.
And yes your right there are VERY good 109/190 sticks in this game landing XX kills - I do it all time in an early model 109, know why? Practice - I sat in the TA every day for a month and flew in main arena to learn the 109 and actually got decent with it. I played the game for 4 years without having an aircraft I considered my own until this year I met my love the 109.

Everyone who has a favorite plane complains about how its not modeled right. If its a "favorite", you most likely have done a lot of reading about it there fore you have a lot of information about it. Going by some guys 50 year old memory, or trusting writers who sometime take a few "libertys" with information to make a story abit "cooler" isn't the best way to judge these things, and the reason there are so many arguments about it. Unless you have flown a 109, you can't possibly compare it to anything else.

While I've never flown a warbird, I think HTC has done a pretty good job of modeling the aircraft. Each model type flies a bit different than the others which tells me that the modeling is geared to the plane, not to a single dynamic. I don't think there is anything wrong with the 109s and 190s. I enjoy a number of them (had a fun fight last night with me in a 109G6 vs a zero. took awhile, but I won). Don't take everything you read on the internet as gospel. I could add a page to the wikipedia about how the 109s could fly backwards and back it up with my own web pages to make it look true. It doesn't make it true any more than some of the things you've read and now believe are not right with the 109s we fly in a game.

Learn to fly the plane with what it has available in the game. There are a number of very good 109 jocks that will hand almost anyone, in anything their head in any kind of fight.
