Keep trying (ghey pistol), one day you'll succeed.   Until then, we'll just sit back and laugh at you.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I'd like to have the ignore feature reintroduced, although a simple IQ or literacy test would accomplish the same thing.

Might as well just go to your Call home and type: ignored then list the names. This way those people will get the hint when they actually are ignored. The more you feed the trolls and even make their presence known the more they are going to be accomplished. Ignore those people no matter what drivel they write and help them get the hint that they are not accepted here with the behavior they have. Its up to the community to come down on these types as one unless we get this feature. Shades and non payers shouldn't be allowed here though. I agree with that.            Nitro

....Or you just chose NOT to read their crap. Seems easier to me.

It's kind of hard when they usually post incoherent sentences or spam smilies in every thread.

I agree, bring back the ignore feature.

Here's one; DON'T FEED THE ANIMALS.

All you have to do is not reply or acknowledge them in any way. That way their posts can never hijack a thread, and eventually they will learn the proper etiquette. This technique originated as a method of combating forum trolls, and is very useful for converting idiots into literate people. Another way to take care of this, is to impose a 2-week/read x number of topics requirement prior to being able to post, except for in the support section. As far as I know, this has never technically been implemented anywhere, but it often serves as an unofficial social requirement.

Let's be honest- some people are just so damned stupid, that even reading what they type will make you dumber. (That's a fact- look it up.)
We need the ignore feature, for the overall mental well-being of the community.

NO

If you can't handle what someone's said, it your own bloody problem.  I don't mean to be offensive, but IMO this it true.  If you find a person annoying/stupid enough to make you want to ignore them WITH AN IGNORE FEATURE, then stop being lazy and ignore them yourself.

I'll just take a moment to point out that this isn't a discussion, and you really don't have any say in the matter regardless. If you think it's great that the forum is filling up with half witted kids, fine. I don't feel the same.

Funny that some don't want others to have the choice to ignore, i.e. block out, individual bbs users.  That says a lot.

Hubs don't you think leaving the tards on their own would just amplify their crap once they were isolated? Like removing banks of trees from the edge of a sand desert?
