Just get the death sprint perk, Fishu.  It's a perfect fit for VATS 1-shot setups.

Yeah I have it.. Grim reapers that is.

That's it.. Two shots into a ghoul's head is always enough, so you never run out of AP.. In my one game at least.

I use VATS because the guns fire faster with it than without. Gets the job done faster and.. ehm.. easier. With VATS a target only moves couple of inches and in that time you've already shot 3-4 times. Without VATS you only get to shoot once and the rest of the time you'll be reloading.

haha thats no fun :) Im an old quake player, I like to jump around n fire. heck I don't even know what I've been putting my points in. Mostly just useless toejam which looks funny.. like that lady killer stat and hired contract killer etc. anything that is quite bizarre and suits my murderous style i like.

Been playing for 2 weeks now. Best game for at least 10 years - simply love it.

I'm insanely evil - didn't blow up Megaton, instead opened up Tenpenny Tower to the local ghouls. It was pretty shocking to watch the feral ghouls chase the occupants around the place. Luckily I had been given a ghoul mask so they ignore me.
War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.

Actually, you did the world a favor by erasing the residents of the Tenpenny. Tenpenny himself is one of the biggest and most evil crooks of the wastelands.

Find the town of Minefield, travel directly North about an inch on you pipboy, try and find a random spot of radiation near some rocks.

You'll find a surprise and a very very good energy weapon that criticals 95% of your enemies, and turns them to a small pile of dust.

Anyone able to find this.. oh btw that buzz sound you hear might be some robot shooting at you!  Wow, that was too weird.

I find this game fascinating.  I have not played anything remotely like it before.  It is alot more free weilding than WoW and the visuals are so well done to be amazing.

Thanks for talking this one up guys, best game purchase in quite a while.

I'm having a blast with the game so far. Apparently I ticked some people off in Megaton...I did kill their sheriff, but he started it. Still early on in the game, plan on cleaning out Megaton then blowing it sky high. Once I bomb the place, I'll kill Mr.Burke for his silenced 10mm pistol. That's about as far as my game plan has made it. Aside from "kill anyone who looks at me funny".

On a different note, In Megaton if you off the friendly old lady, and then proceed to dismember her, the torso she leaves is that of a seemingly fit young lady.

That sounds so wrong yet is so fun :)

Beat the game earlier today, but I made another save file so I could reload it at the point of no return and turn totally evul.

I am VERY happy I put my Repair to 100, Every weapon I own never drops below 95% CND. Plasma Rifle is amazing, it's hard not to get 1-shot headshot kills on human characters at any VATS range.

I tried looking for Mechguy, but got bored and gave up. Im gonna go after him later with my Gatling Laser toting Super Mutant buddy Fawkes.

Funny moment : I was heading towards Evergreen Mills from Jury Street Metro Station, I heard Fawkes (My Gatling Laser toting Super Mutant buddy) do his typical 'Eeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhh hhhhhh!!!!' that he does when hes attacking something. As soon as I hear him say that, I see him fly by me doing cartwheels and he lands on his head about 20 feet away.  I turn around in horror to see a Behemoth about arms reach behind me swinging his fire hydrant at my face, I let out a manly scream as I switch to VATS and send 5 Plasma rounds into his face.

It didnt work so well and I ended up losing over half my HP and getting my entire left side crippled. He went for a second swing but I let loose 5-6 more Alien Blaster rounds and teabagged his pile of ashes that remained.

Yeah best I can figure is the weapon is in the Power Plant... and I am NOT going back in there for a while.   :lol

There is an assault rifle in a wall cabinet right inside the door though.

Also there is a bait shop up river from the Jefferson Memorial which has a water fountain, good place to gain health back cheap.

Someone in the game development loves T-33s or better P-80s.

Land mines are your friend, and so are kill zones with land mines.

Sniper rifle does suck.. what is up with that.

Oh for the new guys, disarming the bomb in Megaton gets you a house with lockers, bed, and even a robot butler.

Nuking Megaton gets you a suite in Tenpenny tower with all of those things, and the satisfaction of destroying an entire town with one push of a button :).

I'm still trying to figure out how GTO nuked Tenpenny tower.  With the ghouls' help I guess..

Fencer, they prolly porked the sniper to avoid 1-shot kills ruining gameplay, like in counter-strike.

There's a number of pretty funny scenes, most recent one I got is the supply store girl, when you first visit Megaton after doing Tenpenny's work.

I forced myself to choose between this and farcry 2, i'm starting to wish i had chosen fallout 3.

I pre-ordered left 4 dead yesterday and have been playing the demo, which is fantastic.

Left 4 dead is A-W-E-S-O-M-E. I'll buy it on friday. Maybe we can share a game or 2 next WE.
