Fallout 3

Has anyone else been playing this game?  This is one of the best games I've played in a long time and was definitely worth the 10 year wait for another game in this franchise.  I really do recommend this game if you like first person shooter/RPG open ended games.  You can do whatever you want in this game without ever having do any of the main story line quests.  You can spend hours and hours just exploring the vast open areas.

Is it possible to join the Brotherhood of Steel and get one of those armor?

I can't bring myself to buy it, because it's such a rape of the Fallout series. They took something I loved and dumbed-it down to reach the large T-for-Teen audience, and in doing so abandoned what made the games great.

Find the town of Minefield, travel directly North about an inch on you pipboy, try and find a random spot of radiation near some rocks.

You'll find a surprise and a very very good energy weapon that criticals 95% of your enemies, and turns them to a small pile of dust.

Engine, give it a shot. I was a huge fan of the Fallout series and am absolutely addicted to Fallout 3. I think they did a bang-up job with the story line and I'm really enjoying the combat. I've been playing it non-stop for many days and it seems like I'm just scratching the surface with all the places to explore.

Engine, I've played Fallout 1, 2, Tactics and even Wasteland years ago on the Commodore 64.

Fallout 3 isn't 'dumbed down', it is a great game with alot of content that you can play as a 1st person shooter, or as turn based game with VATS.

After i got it, i walked around DC carefree, 1 maybe 2 shots depending on distance, and poof.

Having 100 on small guns helps tenfold.

I havent even made it to Rivet City yet.

I'm gonna explore the north part of the Wasteland, now that the Deathclaws are easy to kill.

Oh, and yes you can get the BoS armor suits, you need to follow the main questline a ways and they train you (As long as you have Neutral/Good karma AFAIK).

Yeah stop being a retard and give it a try, I had low expectations and it IS everything a FPS fallout should be.

And YES you can become a brotherhood of steel member towards the end of the main quest.

Best game of the last 5 years hands down.
