Ch 200 on that particular night had a lot of Racist and Xenophobic undertones, quite dark and sinister actually, I was very dissapointed to read some of that stuff on there, I just hope that we the community stamp on any racist or Xenophobic mutterings before this sort of stuff gathers steam and let folks know that this is unacceptable.

I was not involved, I was at work; I did lose one of my Fighter Squadrons and a very good pilot because of it.

You still did not answer my question

Are there not in game moderators who should have put a stop to the none sense?

You can sit there and say it doesn't matter and just ignore the other people, and you're right you can do that or you can let every one know that we as a community are not going to tolerate that kind of behavior on these boards and in our game.

Itunes you couldn't have said it better!

Then why comment at all? Unfortunately your world consists of everyone around you every waking minute of your life. Your right you do control your world for the most part; you are most likely to have a boss and you will have to follow rules. That's life for ya.

Maybe a realistic switch of, "Radio On/Off" that corresponds with the 5 radios would help such a situation?

actually, i thought there already was a way to close the text buffer completley?

LOL...what nonsense. An argument is a 2 way street. He could have chosen not to participate. People who rant about politics on 200 always amaze me. If it was on range, just mute the one guy. Thats all you have to do. Its so simple. Blaming it entirely on the "antagonist" is kind of lame.

people who are going to "rant" about anything, are going to continue doing it, regardless of whether or not they get any responses.

You are correct there are always more than one antagonist in every argument.

I never stated that he was apart of the debate, simply a toon pilot trying to enjoy a game. I should also mention that one of the major factors involved with the individual to leave was the use of ethnic slurs, now you tell me who is right or wrong, do you think that the person who left may have been on the defensive based on the comments made?

Here's another point for you: If people are talking crud based on ethnic or religious belief over a one of the countless channels and it forces someone to leave does that mean the individual is wrong and an antagonist?

hopefully someone had film running? if there were ethnic slurs, that film can be sent to htc, and they'll deal with the a-hole accordingly. there is also the  dot report function, which i believe will mute the offender if he's reported enough........

this is a game and not a real world scenario.
no place for "real world politics".

most people, including myself fly here to escape the drudgery of every day life, if only breifly.

The only politics that should be discussed here are what the rooks, bish or knights are doing on the map to conquer the world and what can we do to prevent it.

perfectly stated sir!

Do people need to get so worked up though?Do you not know their are morons that dont agree with you in the world.Their are raciest people in the world their are mean people and violent people. No matter how you feel theirs a lot of people that disagree and are going to voice it,no matter how stupid they are.People have gotten way to sensitive in this world. And we a lot of us have forgotten how to ignore those we disagree with. The game my be a fake world but us people are real.

but the point is, why in the world would someone coming into the game to escape reality for a brief few moments, bring in reality with him? and then force it on the rest of the player base?

i think they had every right to be pissed, and also feel they should've reported the ones that were offensive.

Yeah but why would you bother blaming the few who are ignorant when you can stereotype an entire chess piece? :lol

To much drama for a cartoon flight game. To much drama, posturing, chip on shouldering, sniveling...ect It reminds me why I never talk about Politics in the inter-racial neighborhood I Police in. Or anywhere else for that matter. Even friends can go crazy on each other over such stuff. I lost my old partner a few years back. He was a guy I would have gladly have stepped in front of a bullet for, I loved him that much. He was black, and I'm white, and we never, ever talked about this stuff in the squad.

Its time to learn from this and move on. Theres plenty of silliness on both sides of this. I will support this man as much as I supported any American President.

I was not present during this political regurgitation that night...... but....

I agree politics should not be brought into the game. As for "ethnic slurs", that is a newer word. Times have changed and some judge on color. I only use color to judge when the other person brings it to the table. Me being white or actually Irish, English, American Indian..... I'm not able to use those so called slurs. The only folks, it seems, that are allowed to use those so called slurs without sitting the world on it's side are folks of color, any color.

Let's not forget the Texas town that was going to outlaw a certain "N" word punishable by a $500.00 fine. Folks of color balked and said it was a racist law because some blacks use it as a friendly greeting. So the law was going to be rewritten so that if the term was used in a friendly manner it was ok. That was found to be illegal so the whole mess was dropped.

I figure every legal citizen here in the States is an American..... no matter what race, creed or color. I will continue to think that way till an individual choses to seperate him or herself using one of those criteria.

Talen could of just logged off and came back after elections, it would of made a lot more sense.

Instead, he castrated his own hobby in a silent protest of people that don't really give a crap.

I am sympathetic, but I'm also being realistic.
