Why not just play a guitar? You can buy one for the same price.  :huh

Because learning to play one is harder so you get one with 5 little colorful buttons on it. Then you can play it on tv and play make believe rockstar

Theres a dork at the college and he carries around his little toy guitar controller around in a real guitar case. And then brags how good he can play his game.

I've got friends that play that all the time... then they'll ask me if I play, and I of course respond 'No, but I play the guitar'... and I tend to just get weird looks.

i play a guitar...i play rock band to...for entirely different reasons, and they are incomparable. ITS A GAME, its fairly mindless entertainment. and it can be pretty fun.
