I've got friends that play that all the time... then they'll ask me if I play, and I of course respond 'No, but I play the guitar'... and I tend to just get weird looks.

i play a guitar...i play rock band to...for entirely different reasons, and they are incomparable. ITS A GAME, its fairly mindless entertainment. and it can be pretty fun.
