Eat banana's for breakfast, they go down easy, they come up easy...don't make the mistake of NOT eating, or you'll really be in trouble.

You done it before Rip?

I can't wait, but I don't want to loose. I think I'll have a light breakfast and some strong coffee and half a dozen motion sickness pills.

I've got 16 hours in logged in single engine A/C and one aerobatics ride in a glider. But this will be over the top.

I will probably keep trying to twist the control stick(yoke) with my hands to use the rudder, hehe. Where's my hat switch? Is this a C-hog or a D-hog? Rip, Vosper, Blitz, SAW? help, check 6!!!!

I haven't done it yet, but is something I am telling my wife I want for B-Day this summer. On discovery channel the did a special once on "top 100 wild rides". Most of them were roller coasters, but the number one wildest ride they covered was this aircombatusa. Ever since I saw the show I have wanted to do it, and I even live in CA

This made me laugh, I once ate (2) Egg McMuffins with extra cheese, and 2 cans of Mountain Dew prior to a day with with my step-father, who was a flying game warden with the D.N.R. of Minnesota...we dropped into a lake to do alittle fishing (Pontoon 182) but hit some turbulance prior to landing...after landing I ralphed up all my breakfast, it soon became 'chum' as the fish were all over the area of the floats where I puked, fishing was good needless to say!

I've never done the plane ride thing but I do a lot of ocean fishing.

Trust me: DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN THE RECOMMENDED DOSE OF MOTION SICKNESS PILLS!

If it's the regular Dramamine, that many will simply cause you to pass out asleep..I'm not kidding; even with coffeee and excitement, you'll simply fall asleep in the cockpit...the drowsiness power of those things are beyond comprehension; they mainly work by making you so tired you don't notice you're nauseous.

If you take the Bonine (the stuff that lasts 24 hours) anything more than 1-2 pills is going to basically make you insane. I was incredibly irritable and had severe visual blurriness, almost hallucinations, after I took 2 and then another 1 4-5 hours later on an especially rough day.

And my understanding is that with them even limited overdosing quickly gets to dangerous levels with any motion sickness medication.

Just take 1-2 of whatever form of pill you get, just like it says on the package.

ROFLMAO Rip! I'll remember that this summer, when I go fishing in my floatplane <evil grin>. I'll take my passenger to breakfast at the local 'greasy spoon', hit an unsuspected 'sinker' on final hehe, and see if these Alaskan fish 'take the bait'....damn that was funny Rip!

Someday I'm gonna do one of those combat places, but would like to get some actual aerobatic training first......someday   Good Luck F4UDOA!! And don't forget the pics.

If you;re really rich they have a fantasy vacation in Moscow. Anyway, I think it was:

I think the Chino offering is a great buy, too! They let you trade flights for rides in WWII types like the F4U. Check it out!

If you are the one doing the flying, you should not suffer from motion-sickness at all. Just do not let the instructor show you the maneuvers. That is where you get really sick.

 Post you impressions later.

Visibility vs PC (how close do you estimate the distance, far can you discern attitude, etc.)

G-effects - how easy could you function, communicate and control the plane while completely blacked out (at least you should). How quick does vision come back after complete blackout for a couple of seconds.
