Don't worry the DVD will be out in Feb/March and hopefully it will not have the silly activation/deactivation crap that it appears to have with this digital version. As I posted on another board...I should be allowed as the rightful purchaser of said game to install and uninstall the game as much as I want to on my machine. I mean I did that with Falcon 4 over the last ten years. I think I have installed it probably 100 times with all the screwups that game had in its first version.

Kind of hard to get anywhere with it for the first times I'm trying it. Flying it feels like an F-117 without computer assistance - up down up down left right left right up down....

Don't buy this unless you're willing to put a lot of time in to it. It took me three days just to turn the bloody engines on.

I can fly it now, after a fashion. Hovering without letting the autopilot do it for you is pretty damn challenging. Most of my landing are similar to that youtube clip of the Apache  :rofl. I haven't even begun to touch any of the weapons, navigation, radio countermeasures systems yet.

I also had to go out and buy and extra large ring binder for the manuals.

Oh - and I'm absolutely loving it.  :D

Combat hellos are obsolete. If at least this was a historical one I could see the point.

Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.

This game is pretty damn sweet once you learn how to stop tearing the rotors off.

The only major flaw is the campaign system. This is garbage. It's just scripted missions. It needs a live campaign system like the various Falcon 4 engines. Then it would be a masterpiece of helicopter sims.
