Sorry, but that show sucked.

I refuse to believe that Marines of the future would be that whiney.

I also refuse to believe that piloting could be so easy that every ground pounder would be taught how to do it, or conversely, that there would be such a shortage of Marines that pilots would be sent to do the ground pounding.

Makes me wonder if the same graphics studio did BSG as Firefly.

Many of BSG's space combat shots reek of Babylon 5.

I really looked forward to the last ten episodes.Now,with just three episodes left I keep waiting for something to happen.The two mutiny episodes were the only two of the seven that were even remotely entertaining for me.

Well it looks like we might end on a high note for the series. They have drug it down through the gutter so now they have no where to go but up. 

As for other notable series...I loved Space Above and Beyond for its story line. Particularly the one with the old colonel who flew into the black hole playing Ring of Fire...that was my favorite of them.

Rechke that was a good episode.I enjoyed Space above and beyond.How long did that last maybe one season?They always cancel the realy good shows.That show Booker is a perfect example<G>

Well what alot of people dont know is the background story to space above and beyond.

It was deep, and everything happend for a reason.

Check it out, unfortunitly i cannot find the more detailed storyline. :|

Basics are, between being unable to make babys, then the A.I. wars, then the chig wars (and all the multiple war on earth before during and after), yeah humans in S.O.A.B. was on the nitty gritty, to say the least.


Wildcards were all invitros "genetic engineered humans, not* clones" they were slaves of state and therefor were not treated as humasn, they have no family,no sisters no brothers, so when the human A.I wars kicked off, most would sit the battle's out, and through that became seen as lazy worthless and just downright not caring, about anything.
After the A.I. wars, they were freed, and thus had the ability to join in the military.

But the "tank" stigma still fallows them.

Not sure which you were comparing.

Yes, too much whining by BSG military types, especially the Admiral.

But BSG clearly shows viper pilots are different from the dedicated ground-pounder/security type troops.
