We had those Johhny Seven guns in the UK but my mum wouldnt let me have one

Had to contect myself with Subbuteo (soccer game), using the timer clock on my mums oven, 15 minutes each way

Dinky toys, especially heavy metal tanks with chain treads that moved, and the howitzer or antiaircraft gun that you could put a cap in for a bang as the spring shot a ladyfinger firecracker out the barrel.

Those 10-cent balsa gliders.  

And the 10-cent rubber or plastic soldiers about two inches high.

Whiffleballs with skinny wooden or fat plastic bats.

And lately the great Matchbox Collectible 1/72 diecast metal WWII and Korean war airplanes.

I had the whole first series of these things when I was kid, then my &*%$& mother gave them away when I was in high school.





Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
