BTW anyone remember the name of this toy?

It was rubberband propeller driven. and you could use it with wheels on it to go over the ground (flat surface) or put skies on it and it would go over water.
In my case I discovered it worked great on snow.

Cant remember what they were called though.
I DO remember they came out around the same time or a little before
Quisp and Quake cereal

WOW your family must have been rich!!

Probably had a TV an all!

When I was a kid in Jersey we had a "stick" and a "ball".

We used to play a game called (are ya ready for this?)  "Stickball".

We would while away the summer hours playing stickball and snacking on playdough.

Cool topic.

Greatest toys ever.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Well when I was a kid I had He Man toys, actually still have some of them, G.I Joe, I had alot of them and about 7 years ago when I was moving I was tired of packing all my stuff and I just threw out my old toy box I kept them in, wish now that I would have saved them, probably woth some money, I even had the G.I Joe Space Shuttle, the thing was pretty big, I also had alot of Transformers, I don't remember what happen to them though, again I wish I still had those.

I got beat to the Rock em Sock em robots, but this one sticks out as well

Also ALOT of Hotwheels and Matchbox cars (still have a majority, 200+).  Also had about 100ft of the orange Hotwheels track.

You aint had your rear end busted until it's been blistered by a piece of '70s Hotwheel track. ;) :D
