The Niki.  Purty yellow stripe on the leading edge of the wings, strong enough to take some hits and still fly, maneuverable enough to fight 3 cons and live, capable enough in a dive to get away or drag that evil BnZer to the deck.  To some, the ultimate gamer dweeb plane...to me, the ultimate TnB plane.

Damn Hblair, that tail wheel looks like it is meant for off-road driving.  Is that a Firestone?

Hi

Actually ra you are right the increased diameter tailwheel was added beginning in the G4 series along with bigger mains in order to lower ground pressure due to the 109s ever growing weight. The tall strut improved ground-handling and visibilty during take-off. And yes many 109 operated off-road from grass fields.

thanks GRUNHERZ

??? since we're comparing kd ratio...

T10:

NathBDP has 79 kills and has been killed 19 times in the Bf 109G-6.

And this isn't when I was TRYING for a good kd.

threats ?

"I love you, you love me, we both fly Luftwaffels" ?

ROFL...Where is this *special* G10 you speak of? It must not be available in my hangar. As far as the K/D, that is probably because more newbies are attracted to the N1K, Spit and P-51. Kind of like moths to my bug-zapper.

The Alliers are trying to put our LW planes down as being dweeby now (they must be getting sick of all the abuse we give 'em) sorry fellas all our planes require skill and actual train of thought to fly...

P.S.

The G10 has lots of 'style', maybe not when an inexperienced person flys one and all he/she does is run or climb away, however, when dedicated LW pilots like those of 9./JG  54 fly a G10 you better beleive there's going to be style and finesse in our flying of it.

IMO the A8 is a far better Arena plane for getting kills than the G10. I usually get 5 or 6 kills a sortie in G10 (internal only), however, 6 kills in an A8 would take only half the time that it would in a G-Ten.

P.P.S. G6/R6 is awesome, especially with 30mm and if you can handle her like I can she's a dream.

I have to go with Leonid on this one. The La-5 oozes masses of style. Looks damned cool, and is a beast of a plane.

P-51 (my fav ride) is also damned stylee.
