The guys in the background with the placards are the muslim protesters.  The police are trying to protect the protesters from the very large angry crowd of Brits objecting to them being there. 

Talk about outnumbered.

This is what happens when you allow Sharia Law(like in England)..

They demand this,yet are they ever charged for holding signs in the streets of London,Toronto and Washington calling for the murder of those who "offend" them?

Sharia law is not valid in the UK, and yes, numerous people have been charged and imprisoned for doing just that (you get 5 years iirc) - explicitly inciting violence is a crime, just expressing an opinion is not.

Well.....admittedly, I was thinking this was going to be a lot worse than it was.  Luton has a large muslim population and leaflets like the above being stuck through peoples doors looked like it was going to cause a big crowd.

As it happens, the muslim crowd was tiny compared to the rest of the Brits and they got shouted down with minimal violence (little bit of shoving).

If i held up a sign on the street expressing my views on Islam in England(or Canada)..I would be arrested and charged with a "hate crime".

And give me one example of radical muslims being rounded up and arrested for holding signs that incite violence.

UK law always takes precedence, ie you can conduct your life under the guidance of Sharia law, but only as long as it doesnt conflict with UK law.

if you publicly expressed views which incited violence or racial hatred, then yes you would be arrested and charged, otherwise you would just be be exercising your right to free speech. I can say "Brits have bad teeth", I cant say "Chop off Brits' heads because they have bad teeth!"

You could hold a banner that said there is no allah and mohammed wasn't a messiah.  Recently there were buses on the UK with an advert that said something along the lines "There's no god, so enjoy life".

Fwiw, I don't think that a muslim being upset about the Iraq war makes them an extremist: advocating violence, yes, but speaking out about it, no.
