Nope keeping the rest the same only cut out the 105's. That leaves trenches, auto M8's, auto 30mm, and 37mm guns in bunkers, auto 50mm AT guns out side of bunkers, and finally German 88's. I was thinking 1 for every 5 of the smaller guns. Three would be in bunkers and 2 would be outside in the open. All that takes place over the course of an hour. The guns outside of bunkers will fire HE, AP, and AA. While the ones inside of bunkers fire HE and AP rounds. I think it would be a nice touch to be flying along in your bomber or fighter and a strech of defenses off to the side catches your eye.

If any defense line should be built, it should be in the perimeter of the base. The only idea that I like, Nemisis, is the trenches. With trenches, the defending GVers can slide up in them for additional cover. Of course, dont make the trenches completely surrounding the base because the enemy GVs wont have a chance of getting in the base. Have trenches broken up and staggered. Leave some gaps open so attacking GVs have a fair chance to breach through the defenses.

Now I am no GVer, but I can say that all of the auto-gun/ack is just going to kill the fun for the GVers out there.

I wonder if anyone had suggested having a vehicle, or some feature to the game that has mortar fire?  :D

I was only thinking like 1 gun every .5k  and some of the guns will be replaced with bigger cannons as you approach the 1hr mark. I wasn't talking about thousands of guns. Only like 24 per 3k (24 because 1 88 will be added for every 5 smaller guns) and not all of those will be in firing range. And of course the trench line would be stagared and have gaps, I said that in my first post that started this thread.

Fine 1 30mm gun every 1k, 1 37mm gun every 1.5k, 1 50mm gun every 2.5k, and 1 88mm gun every 3.5k. And not all in a line. I mean 30mm in front with the 50mm's dispersed throughout them, then the 37mm's .5k back, then the 88mm's 2k back from the start of the defenses.
