i'm with you grizz, what a load of crap. Probably like you say, the dad wanted his balloon found or something. I don't see the kid could have made it to the hiding place at the same time as people seeing the balloon drift off.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Why not?  While everyone is looking upwards in the sky after the older brother told everyone what happened, I'm sure it would have been easy for him to hide in the attic.

True, it could be possible, i dont even know what their house looks like. Just a gut reaction i think, something smells fishy. Perhaps they were trying to give him publicity for his 'rap'? Dunno, just a feeling. They are clearly exhibitionists or they would go on wife swap and post films on youtube of their young children rapping about 'glorification'.

The snapshot of the family during the 'news conference' you can see the two older boys hanging their heads and looking awfully sorry... rather revealing if you will.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I'd say its time for the beatin' of that boys life. When I was a kid I would of got beat for merely getting close to it.  ;)
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I read that reason for the boy's behavior was fear of his father's anger.  Fwiw, in learning how to discipline my own son, logical consequences for misbehavior are far more effective than my anger.

You may be right, as I do not have children. But I would think if the child new that the outcome would be a trip over daddy or mommy's knee then maybe he would avoid messing with the balloon all together.

I'm only 28 and paddling in schools was long gone before I was born, but you can rest assure I caught hell from my mom and dad if I did something bad.

What I don't get is why they thought the balloon had the capacity to carry the kid.  It wasn't even close.

Not even close to funny; I remember being that age and doing some pretty stupid things now that I look back on them. It is a miracle I survived past age 10 due to some of the stuff I did.

haha, now thats funny...

The reporter knew it but didnt have the urge to really take them up on it, as it was already obvious and on film.
