If you had the spare change.....
« on: October 19, 2009, 01:01:43 PM »
Would you or would you buy something else?

BTW is it wrong that I get a little tingly sensation (downunder) when looking at the MK II cockpit photo's?
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

That guy is full of it with that 'you could actually turn with a Zero' line.

i dunno if he is or isn't.......

it does appear fairly maneuverable though.......and he probably only means for 1 or 2 turns.

No... it can appear to turn with a Zero under certain conditions but that was a mis-statement if I ever heard one.

Wonder what kind of shape the N3967A GRUMMAN TBM-3U is in for $275,000. That is an achieveable price point in many respects.

I guess that I would have to go with the ole B-25.  You can get those in the $300,000 range and at least you would be able to stand up on a long flight.   :D

I would definitely try and find a 38 in flying condition.  If I couldn't I would settle for a Corsair.

Wow, one of my favorite aircraft, the A37 Dragonfly, only $625,000 with two J85 turbines.
And a similar plane, the British Strikemaster at $150,000
