Everything you are saying is understandable but you along with everyone else must take the things my squad-mates  have said (excluding twitchy and various other tards) and put it into a sort of immature context yet still in the adult mindset. Many of the threads previously started by the POTW are more for fun than anything yet most of you take it to heart or make it seem like we are trying to be smug, you should look at it more in terms of having a good time on a board about a video game and trying to grab a slight bit of publicity for our squad, despite going about it in the wrong way, in an otherwise infinite list of squads who deserve recognition. It is quite an affective way to stand out. Many of you dislike the attention grabbing and call it childish but I still consider myself a child and don't see that ending. Any of you who are offended yet still add to the posts may want to look into a mirror because you are more like a child than you let yourself admit. Letting something someone wrote on a board about a video game or squad in said video game that you happen to play effect you that much does not constitute as adult, at least in my book. Being an adult you should simply move on instead of indulging in the childish urge to post your opinion. But nobody is calling you wrong for doing so. I personally love to hear your opinions good or bad about the squad I'm in, or any topic for that matter, not because I wish to change but because you are the people who make this game great. But you should also consider the serious things that the people in this squad say. The issue of these massive unstoppable NOE raids seems to be an ever increasing problem and many people would like to see it addressed, if not then it is your right to disagree and I hope you have fun doing what it is you do.

As for the type of squad we are falconwing, we do everything from bomb to furball. Nothing in our squad is exclusive except the friendship.. I for one haven't seen the pigs actually organize and take bases as much as we just look for good fights.

MrMeaty

I respect that you are standing up for your friends and I don't have any problem with that...please don't take my post as a blanket incrimination of all folks who fly under the POTW name.  My squad is definitely involved in all aspects of the game for better or worse depending on one's point of view.  Perhaps your board discussions would be better served by defining who your squad wants to be instead of using the AH boards for that purpose.

What I see is a squad in turmoil who seem to be struggling to decide what to do...Birds of Prey have gone through times of turmoil as well but we have handled them privately.  I don't think what is occurring on the AH bbs is helpful for the long term cohesiveness of your group.  I hope I am wrong.

To be honest I really don't see any reason that this couldn't have been settled privately or why they're so many posts about it. Personally I don't think their is anything helpful about these boards, just criticism and over all uselessness. I really do believe nothing productive can come of all of these posts but whats done is done. Maybe this can be a lesson to everyone who has future squad problems, private is the way to go. I don't see any of your posts offensive or anything like that at all. Ill continue to support my squad in whatever endeavor they chose...(within reason.... or without reason)..  :joystick: <S>

Its funny how everyone is nicer in the game and sweethearty on here but I'm a sweetheart in the game and have some sort of reason in here...

Think what you want, I'm not going to be like you and dictate how your going to do things, unlike the way your squad seems to think they can. And I've had my fair share of Army already, 4 years of it, and I like the Marines still.

I'll be the bigger man and walk away.

Ak Ak did you call the muppets weak?  :devil   Is it bad we are trying to fix bad gameplay?

Last time I checked, someone from PoTW were calling out the Claim Jumpers and then 1st Nasty, nothing about AoM.  How are you trying to fix bad game play?  Believe me, nothing from your posts or anyone else from the PoTW has come close to helping fix bad game play.  All I see is a squadron that imploded and now reformed trying to shed its former 'tard image by puffing out their chests and trying to act like bad tulips on the forums.  Is that how you fix bad game play?

I don't get it.  NOE's are so easy to stop, and you can get TONS of kills from them in a single fighter doing BnZ.  These should be a blast to blow up... I swear if people spent as much time defending against NOE's as they did complaining about them, NOE's would no longer be considered a viable option for taking a base.

Seriously, try climbing to 5k or 10k and watch the NOE mission squirm as you pick off their C-47's, then their escorts, and if you have the ammo, the bombers on their way home.

We all pay $15 dollars, we're all going to do what we want no matter how many posts are made.

BOLD= check some threads I think I was the one who first called them out and we went back and forth

As far as bad gameplay many have tried being nice to these people only to have it get worse and worse, so why not invite them into a sqaud fight so they can see what it is about? Trust me I know I dont speak for all of PoTW, I have fought against most of them if not all of them in the DA and also times when I needed to take a break from the knights and jump sides(that problem got fixed woot) The "'tard image" statement cant be more false since I think I have been calling people out on the furoms and 200 for about a year before this whole crap with Twitchy(which is where I think you are confused), Im competitive is all. Waystin has had a grudge with these mass NOE raids for AWHILE, trust me we have talked about it on our furoms many times, maybe he hit an edge and decided to bring it into the public eye? He didnt tell us he was posting these, we dont have some sort of plan on fixing our image with these....this is how we are and have been for awhile now(the most of us). I look forward to good fights with you :salute

That's pretty much getting close to complete nonsense.

Yes, NOE's are easy to stop - IF you have enough pilots available stitting in the tower all the time, ready to up at a moment's notice. Unfortunately most players are actually playing.. so when a 20+ NOE is hitting a field, it's most of the time simply pure luck if you can muster enough defenders to repel them, unless it's a complete noob mission.

Remember, it takes only 2.5 minutes from edge of radar circle to base at 300mph.

doubt all you want and if its hard to read or get the picture maybe you should have someone read and explain it to you.and i have been on the game 8 years and never seen your name, but i really dont care wtf you think

:rofl ... yeah right ... so answer the question ... what has been your game id(s) over these past 8 years ?

Never mind ... you won't be able to answer that ... there is no way a tool like you could have been hiding in the tool shed for 8 years with the chip you have on your shoulder.

I am curious as well what name they fly under.

Pretty sure I know all the pilots that have flown that long.

Nitefox2 ain't one of 'em.

doubt all you want and if its hard to read or get the picture maybe you should have someone read and explain it to you.and i have been on the game 8 years and never seen your name, but i really dont care wtf you think

when i started playing i was known as fritzX and the first squad i was part of was the air raiders(a great group of guys and girls i aint forgot about you she got ya :)) and then i went away for about a year or so,then i got my own computer and took on the name nitefox, and the guy i shared a computer with kept the name fritzX,we started a squad called the devils rejects, there was only three of us ,myself ,fritzX and his cousin Trench, and as time went on we never made a website for it and eventully we disbanded for other reasons,me and fritzX went to the p.o.t.w and trench ended up going to a new founded squad called the V devils rejects

The first tour fritzX flew in was Tour 83 in 12/06.

At no time was the CPID fritzX a member of any squad that I could find.

I see no "nitefox" in the scores either, but there is a nitefox2 that started flying in Tour 99 04/08.

The first squad I see listed for nitefox2 is the POTW under Waystin2 in Tour 111 04/09.

Granted, I only looked up LateWar listings, so it is possible this was an Early of Mid War squad.

Would LOVE to see how you got "8 years" out of three nightfox2.

Remember, it takes only 2.5 minutes from edge of radar circle to base at 300mph.
There are several planes in the set that could get to 5k or higher and up in speed in that amount of time.

Listen, I'm not saying NOE missions are good or bad, acceptable or unacceptable, I'm just saying I feel like people saying "undefendable" is kind of an exaggeration.  I'm more-or-less playing the devil's advocate here trying to see if there is an underlying issue that everyone is trying to get at.

I feel like all the people that complain about someone bombing a hanger and ruining a furball and that NOE's are awful, are also the same people that say scores don't matter and the point of the game is to dogfight anyway.  In other words, I'm kind of confused why these people are worried about losing bases to an NOE mission if they have a sweet dogfight elsewhere and those who toolshed are busy with said NOE mission.  It seems they are more worried about what other people are doing rather than just playing the game how they like.

Seriously, the flame messages don't get anything done.  They just create tireless threads about nonesense and arguments that will never be resolved by us.  I'm sure that if HiTech finds a system to help the problems he sees with gameplay, they will be implemented.  He clearly sees that there is a problem, let it rest.
