Bashing squeakers

I get a kick out of seeing chatter from "squeakers" like the first one. We should all be so lucky as to get that immersed in this game.
The second one is just plain make me chuckle.
And as for the third style, I would rather see silly questions as opposed to most of the "normal" smack talk, bashing, and rants that happen just as much. And the solution for those is the same as the other, a simple squelch is far more effective than making an arse out of ones self.

 

I have heard the first two on more than one occasion in MW! I just threw that last one in for good measure! I agree whole heartily about not making a fool/arse of ones self bashing a new/young player!

In AW DAMND-BM left his flackpanzi sitting on the end of the runway and went to the bathroom. His 6 year old daughter hopped into his seat and shot at every airplane that spawned a few feet away from her for the next 5 minutes. Many sqweekers are just trying to learn from the adults around them by emulating them without the benefit of knowing how everything works. The overwhelming majority of us just hopped into this game and never went for "How Everything Works Lessons" in the TA. What makes us so special to denigh everyone after us that privlage?

Thus the Sqweekers never learn the golden rule in AH: Adults can act rotten, Sqweekers(children) are to be seen and not heard no matter how badly the adults are acting.

So with the way we act on range and ch200, why do you expect sqweekers to behave better than us adults? And why is our normal adult ROTTEN conduct any better than theirs? Thats what they are inundated with the moment they first ever pop into a tower. You guys make enough POSTS in this Forum to headline each others ROTTEN conduct. Do as I say not as I act come to mind guys? But, hey, the littel cuties are only acting like the other people playing the game, and they are all taught adults are right so act like your elders.....

Quite a few of us want the game to be our exclusive adult only nudi bar with a "XXXX" rating. Most conveniently forget the owner of the bar never said it's rating was any lower than "G". And you become proportionantly indignant in this Forum when ever the owner reminds you through moderator power of the limits to ROTTON adult behavior. And again for the (millionth x trillionth) time the question is: What makes your $15 a month better than a sqweekers $15 a month in a family freindly entertainment center?

So gentelmen, all the rhetoric and canards aside. Lets take a vote and send it as a petition to the owner of this entertainement center rather than villify CHILDREN for the umpteenth time.

How many of you want a minimum age restriction enforced on all players in the game to protect OUR adult behavior from THE children?

Lord knows our nightly conduct as adults could get an R rating for this game if whoever puts those ratings on PC Box games were to logon and listen to VOX and the text buffer for a week. You think any of those childrens parents do that? Heck, BiPolar won't even let his children near us and we all know the infamous BiPolar of the muppets. Now thats BAD for a family freindly entertainment center don't ya think fellas?

I'm still waiting for someone to define some things for me.  What defines an 'adult' and what defines a 'kid'.  Is an 18 year old making fun of a 17 year old an adult bashing a kid?  How young does a tard have to be to be off limits?  Please, somebody let me know what the age cutoffs are here.

Do you really think AH is anywhere near is bad as mainstream FPS games like Counterstrike or Modern Warfare 2?

Bustr, I've seen you bash players plenty.  As has waystin, the nicest guy in Aces High.  Do you guys ask the ages of players you bash before you go off on them?  Even the word 'bash' is entirely subjective and has a wide range for interpretation.

I'm playing devil's advocate here, but seriously, what are the age cut offs for criticizing somebody?

I have tried to take the person aside numerous times, even one point took him to the DA to show him the maneuvers that caused his demise.  If you've ever encountered Nisr and his constant whines on open channel, it's rather difficult to teach someone something when they insist that you've gamed the game or cheated in some fashion.  Some people bring on the insults themselves, Nisr being a prime example.  

I recall a few temper tantrums on open channel coming from you in the MW arena, in fact you even used to try and bait people so you could have an excuse to .report them.

Anyone who asks me a question I will always give them an informed answer as to what happened and why they died.  I will even send film to anyone who requests.  As for going to the DA/TA with them to work on things at that very moment...that depends on my mood.  I don't pay $15/mo to spend hours teaching people how to fly in the DA/TA but I will do it from time to time.  Most people learn ACM on their own.

Here are the steps to becoming an ace:
Step 1: Film your sorties.
Step 2: When you die to someone better, watch the sortie from yours and his perspectives and see what he did.  Think about what you could have done differently, most times you will figure it out no your own but if you absolutely cannot, start a thread in the Help and Training, post the film trimmed down and ask for analysis.
Step 3: Practice 1v1s in the DA with vets who are in there mixing it up at a side base.  They will NEVER turn you down.  The more the merrier, just make sure you know the rules of engagement.
Step 4: Always be learning from your failures.  If you keep doing the same thing wrong over and over again and fail to make an adjustment, you will never get better.
