Time for Mac

I know I have read it many times, Mac will never be part of Aces High, but I am converting.

I think it is time for HiTech to make the switch.

Your Mac will run XP(with bootcamp)..  You'll be able to run AH..

neg, Macs are fantastic value because what you get with them is MacOS X.

It's true the Mac OS has very little issues in gaming.  Just look at all the problems with Vista 7.

I was at the Philadelphia airport the other day and on two separate equations I saw an Apple reboot screen (I think that's what it is, just a gray screen with a darkened apple and the little circular loading thing) on the flight monitors (I guess that's what you call them... show delays and stuff). The second time, I was still watching it when the reboot finished, and the OSX desktop came up and some poor technician was fiddling with it for a couple of minutes before the proper display came back up.

Can only imagine what he was thinking... 'no problems my ....'

mac has that upper hand because the problem with microsofts software is that it has to work with all the types of hardware(bad, crappy, and good).

beta was so much better than vhs but look what happened.  same with macs, they could be the best thing since sliced bread, but if most business use windows, that's how its gonna be at home too. and ms is not about to let windows be #2, not now not in the near future.  apple messed up 30 years ago and that aint gonna change.

interesting, Ive never seen OSX used for that type of application before. seen a few crashed ATMs with a DOS C prompt over the years.

Of course they have little issues in gaming. You've got to have games to play before you can have issues with them. =P

Honestly, the ONLY difference between a Mac and a PC these days is that on the MAC side, Apple controls the hardware and writes the software for a very specific subset of options. On the PC side Microsoft has to write windows for over 1 billion different options, and has no control over the hardware. That's the difference in stability right there.

(and if you really want to get into that argument, Most Linux distros are generally faster, smaller, and more stable than both... =P )
