They WERE advertising the You Tube clips. No "flames" needed. You're wrong on this one.
Ok let's try it this way. The person on the Rook side was not advertising, least not intentionally. It's beginning to look like a really bad case of bad timing. But I have to ask, is this kind of reaction normal? A couple of hacks show up and AH goes to hell? I watched one guy last night get jumped because he asked wether or not the hacks have been dealt with. Simple question, yes or no, no need to insult the guy. I watched pilots I thought were good guys turn into babbling 5 year old idiots falling over themselves trying to get a stab into the guy. This is not what I pay money for. I pay money to fly and put really big holes into other peoples back yards. I want to be able to do that without being worried that if I type anything in chat, someone is going to twist it and use it to get me banned. What really pisses me off is how someone could quote policy and procedure to boot my wingman, and in the same breath force me to explain to my 9 yr old neice that "(Player) is licking me between my legs" means there's a cat on her lap and how "I'm horny" means she just got shot up by a bad guy but she's still able to fly. Sorry, but I wasn't prepared to explain adult concepts to her because of a video game. My neice likes to watch me fly, she's been in love with prop jobs ever since she watched "30 seconds over Tokyo" and "Flying Leathernecks" with me. She wants a crush cap for her birthday, but it has to be purple because she likes Hannah Montana (don't know how I'm going to fill that order).
I hope Diver is reinstated. I'm one of those he's helped out. He's always seem to be a class act. Yes, he did go overboard with his comments (the fuhrer bit probably wasn't such a good idea) but at the same time HiTech did go overboard with his. (The tread lightly warning was a bit of an insult to me) But, it's been done, let's all move on to the next crisis.
